Do not give anyone any reason to take my daughter from me, Jesus, bless the persons I meet and talk to so they believe me and keep me safe. We join you in prayer today for you and your precious daughter and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus so faithfully, for it is in His name alone that we have access to the Father and it is by His blood we are covered and saved.

We hear the burden on your heart, the desire to be a good and loving mother, the fear of losing your daughter, the stress of dealing with your ex and his family, and the weight of the CPS case and legal matters and your studies all at once. We hear your longing for safety, for truth to prevail over lies and manipulation, and for a godly future marriage. Know that the Lord sees you and your daughter and He is near to you in this trial.

The word of God reminds us, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh Isaiah 54:17. We also cling to the promise, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. Your daughter is a gift from God, for Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward Psalm 127:3, and He will help you to love her and steward her well.

We pray together for you and your daughter.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear mother and her daughter to You. Lord, we ask that You bless them today with Your love, joy, peace, safety and abiding presence. Be with them in every space they enter, make those spaces safe, and let Your light shine upon them so that their bond of love is evident to all. Cover them with the blood of Jesus and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Lord, we ask that You reveal every lie and manipulation spoken by the ex, his family, or anyone else, and let truth be established in every document, every conversation with CPS, and every legal matter. Give this mother wisdom and clarity as she answers questions and completes paperwork, let her words be truthful, gracious and guided by You, and let no false statement stand. Soften the heart of her ex, open his eyes to how his actions affect this mother and child, and restrain any tongue that would seek to harm them or their relationship. We ask that You keep this mother and daughter together, guide her steps and grant her discernment to make right decisions and to recognize the people You send to bless them and to turn away from those who are not from You. Help her to lean not on her own understanding but to trust in You with all her heart Proverbs 3:5-6. Give her strength and motivation in her education, help her to learn well, to make a good impression, and not be put to shame, but to be diligent as unto You. Fill her heart with faith instead of fear, for You have said, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Teach her to bring all anxiety to You in prayer, that Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Lord, we pray for this little girl, hold her heart, let her feel Your love and her mother’s love surrounding her every moment, protect her joy, and draw her early to salvation in Jesus. We thank You that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose Romans 8:28. If it is Your will, Lord, in Your perfect timing, bring a godly husband who is a faithful Christian believer to be a loving husband and father, for we believe marriage is a holy covenant between one man and one woman for life, and we pray any future courtship would be pure and centered on You with the goal of a marriage that honors God. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and turn every evil intent into blessing for this family. Let Your will be done in their lives today and forever. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk by faith and not by fear. The Lord calls us to be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God. Keep bringing every detail to Him as you have done. Cooperate fully and truthfully with CPS and any authorities, for honesty honors God and allows truth to be revealed. Seek wise and godly counsel, perhaps from a trusted pastor or mature believer and where needed from sound legal counsel, and do not walk this road alone. Continue to forgive your enemies and bless those who oppose you, as you have prayed, for this reflects Christ.

We also encourage you as you pray for a future husband, to guard your heart and remain steadfast in purity and faith, seeking first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. Wait upon the Lord’s timing and seek a man who loves Jesus above all else, who will lead your family in faith, for a courtship should be entered into with the clear purpose of discerning marriage to another believer in Christ.

We pray that today you will feel His presence in every part of your being and that your daughter will feel secure, cherished and deeply loved both by you and by her heavenly Father. Trust His guidance for your next steps, and may He grant you clarity, safety and strength for each day.

Wanting to be a safe, present mother while facing pressure from your ex, from ###, and from your studies is a lot to carry at once, and we have been praying for you both as we read your words.

You asked for wisdom for next steps and for clarity about what is yours to do. When there are ### contacts and legal worries, it can help to keep things simple and documented. If you are able, keep one folder for every paper and message, write down dates and what was said after each conversation, and ask for important instructions in writing so you can follow them carefully. Having one trusted person with you, a pastor, a family advocate, or legal aid if you have access, for meetings and for looking over documents can also bring steadiness and help you feel less alone in making decisions.

You are already trying to keep your daughter's daily life calm and loving while you are together this week, and that focused, gentle presence matters more than you may see right now.

Jesus, we bring this mother and her daughter before You. Cover them with Your presence today, give this mother clear wisdom for each conversation and paper, guide those involved in her daughter's case toward truth and fairness, and guard the bond between mother and child. Your prayer has been brought before the Lord with deep tenderness, and we have carried you and your dear child before the throne of grace. How precious is a mother's love for her child, and how gracious is our God who invites you to cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

We join you in asking that the Lord Jesus Christ, our only hope and Saviour, would cover you and your little one with His presence and keep you from harm. There is no safer refuge than to nestle beneath the wings of God, to exchange fear for confidence, for faith laughs at that which fear weeps over. The God of mercy goes before His children, and His angels keep watch around them. May you know this day that if any child of God is placed in a new and trying position, He will give new light upon His character and new strength for the hour.

We pray that the Lord will be the guardian of your child. Scripture cries to us all, Do not sin against the child. The child is little and tender, and the Lord Jesus takes every deed done to the little ones as done unto Himself. This word is for every parent, for every household, and for the church. May both you and the father of your child hear this heavenly warning, that all dealings concerning her may be done in the fear of God and for her true welfare, that she may be brought to Christ that He may put His hands upon her and bless her.

You have asked that lies and manipulation be revealed and that truth be made plain. This is a right prayer, for the Lord has said, Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet, and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies. No refuge of lies can stand before Him. Therefore we pray with you that in every inquiry, whether before those set to care for children or before any court, the truth may be revealed and justice done. Let this be your comfort and your guide also, to walk in truth before God and man. Deal fairly with your own soul, speak the truth in love, and answer with honesty and meekness, trusting not in cunning but in the God who sees all. The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him, and they who fear Him walk in His light.

You have prayed for protection from slander and gossip, and that no weapon formed against you should prosper. We ask the Lord to hold every tongue that would rise against you in judgment, and to turn what is meant for evil into good, as only He can. Yet remember that our greatest safety is not that we are never tried, but that we are kept in Christ. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and forgiveness of sin is essential to that holy fear. You have well prayed, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Continue in that spirit. Out of love to God, labour to do that which He bids you, and let forgiving love breed in your soul deep devotion and consecration to Him. To get away from man and into Christ is true peace.

You ask for guidance in your daily steps, in your education and in your answers to those in authority. We pray that the Lord will put strength in you, that you will lean not on your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Be diligent in the work He has given you to learn, act worthy of the privileges He gives, and do all for the glory of God. May He give you clarity, a sound mind, and a good testimony before all you meet, that you may indeed be a vessel for His grace and bring the savour of Christ into every space you enter.

Concerning your desire for a future husband, we pray with you that if it be the Lord's will, He would in His perfect time bring to you a man of faith, that you might enter together into that holy estate which God ordained from the beginning, the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. Marriage is honourable and is given for our good and His glory, and it belongs within that covenant alone. Wait upon the Lord, keep your heart and life pure before Him, and seek first His kingdom. He who has mapped out a portion for each of His children will withhold no good thing from them that walk uprightly.

So we commend you and your daughter to Jesus, who in the fullness of time took upon Himself our sin and sorrow and went up to the cross with the awful load of our guilt, that whosoever believes on His name should have power to become the children of God. Trust Him not only for daily bread and safety, but for the salvation of your soul and hers. May she feel your love and, far more, His love all around her today and all her days, and may the Lord hold her heart and guide her.

We pray thus: O Lord God of our mercy, who goes before us, look upon this mother and her child. Cover them with Thy blood, keep them in Thy love, let Thy light shine upon them, and let no evil have dominion over them. Give wisdom to those who have charge of this case, reveal what is true, restrain what is false, and let Thy will be done. Lead this dear one in the right pathway, forgive her sins and teach her to forgive, guard her lips and her heart from fear, and make her to walk in Thy strength. Save, we beseech Thee, both mother and child with Thy great salvation, and keep them together in Thy good providence as Thou seest best, that they may dwell under Thy vine and fig tree in peace. Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who sees you and your daughter and knows every care that weighs upon your heart.

We thank God for your desire to be the mother He has called you to be, to love your daughter as He loves her, to keep her safe and to make your home a place of peace where His presence is felt. We pray with you that the Lord will cover you both under His hand, keep you from harm, guard your steps and the spaces you enter, and give you wisdom for every decision you must make.

As the Scriptures show, even when Herod raged and sought to do evil against children, God was not absent. He led the wise men to the humble manger where Christ lay, and He guided and protected His Son. So we ask the Lord to be your guide and protector now. When lies and manipulation rise up, we pray that truth will be brought into the light, for God loves truth and He will not let false words stand forever. We ask Him to restrain every tongue that would speak harm against you or your daughter, to soften hard hearts, and to turn what is meant for evil into good according to His mercy.

We pray also for those who have authority in your daughter's case and in every document and conversation before them. May God grant them clarity, fairness and discernment, and may He give you calm and clear words, guided not by fear but by His Spirit, so that what you say and write reflects truth and love. We ask the Lord to give you strength and understanding in your studies, to help you learn well, to make a good and honest impression, and to use this work for good in the days ahead.

You have prayed to forgive those who have trespassed against you and to bless even those who have caused you pain. This is the way of Christ, who calls us to walk with lowliness and meekness and longsuffering, bearing with one another in love. Continue to walk in that forgiveness while also trusting God to be your defender. No one can deliver us by their own power on the last day, but the Lord is our help now, and He calls us to lean not on our own understanding but to trust Him with all our hearts.

We pray that your daughter will know deeply how much she is loved, by you and even more by Jesus, that she will feel His nearness in her heart, in her home and among those around her, and that no fear or attack will steal her joy. We ask that the Lord will keep your bond strong and guard it, and that He will make you a vessel of His grace to everyone you meet, so that through your words and life others may see His salvation. There is salvation in Jesus Christ alone, and we pray that both you and your daughter will continue to rest in Him and grow in His love each day.

For your future, we join your prayer that if it is the Lord's will, He will in His perfect time bring a faithful man who loves Christ and will love you and your daughter within the lifelong covenant of marriage as God designed it for one man and one woman. We ask not for our will but for His, and we pray He will give you clarity, patience and peace as you wait on Him and follow the right pathway He sets before you.

May the Lord keep you from being polluted by evil tongues or led by fear, and may He fill your heart and mind with His peace. May no weapon formed against you prosper, but may every trial be turned to blessing for you and your daughter as you remain close to Him. We ask Him to stay with you, to let His light shine upon you, and to give you confidence that you are held in His love.
