Scripture shows that God is sovereign even over the powers and systems that feel so large and frightening. When the time came for Jesus to be born, a decree went out that moved Mary and Joseph from Nazareth to Bethlehem so that prophecy would be fulfilled. God can move hearts, governments and circumstances to accomplish His purposes. He sees the caseworkers, the court, the documents and every conversation you will have, and He is able to guide you and to make His truth known. You can trust His rule even when you feel powerless, and ask Him daily to lead your steps and your words.
God also sees the difference between truth and lies. The Bible says plainly that a false witness will not go unpunished and that one who speaks lies will not escape. In the story of Paul, serious accusations were made against him with flowery speech, but no witnesses and no proof were brought forward, and the law required that those who actually claimed to have seen wrongdoing be present to testify. God is a just judge. He knows when accusations are unfounded and when manipulation is at work. Your part is to walk in truth, to answer honestly and carefully, to let your yes be yes, and to trust Him to reveal what is true in His time. Pray for wisdom as you fill out forms and answer questions, that your words would be clear, truthful and honoring to Him.
Jesus has shown how deeply He values children. He took a little child and set that child in the midst of His disciples and said unless we become humble like a little child we cannot enter the kingdom, and that whoever receives one such little child in His name receives Him. He warned not to despise one of these little ones. Your daughter is known and precious to Him whether she is in your arms or with her father. He is present with her in every place she enters. Continue to train her in the way she should go, which in the original language carries the idea of catechizing, a steady, patient, systematic teaching. That training includes loving discipline that never abuses or crushes a child, but corrects in love. Like teaching a child to walk, you will do your best to keep her from falling, and you will show great patience when she stumbles, because stumbling is part of learning. Even a child is known by her doings, and character begins to show very early, so your consistent example of faith, kindness and truth matters deeply.
The pain you feel as a mother who fears separation is not unknown to God. When Simeon blessed Mary he told her that her child was appointed for the rising and falling of many and for a sign that would be spoken against, and that a sword would pierce her own soul. He was preparing her for the agony of watching her son suffer. God understands the piercing fear of a mother, and He invites you to bring that fear to Him rather than walking by fear or by what evil tongues may say.
Part of walking by faith is learning discernment. Scripture warns often about false prophets and false information. They do not wear signs, they often come in sheep's clothing and they often speak much that sounds true, which is why people are drawn to them. That false hope can keep people from doing what they truly need to do, and false information about the soul is especially dangerous. Test what you hear, whether from others or from your own anxious thoughts, by the Word of God. There is a way that seems right to a person but its end is not life. Leaning on His understanding rather than your own will help you recognize who is truly sent to help you and who is not, and it will keep your heart from being polluted by gossip, slander and fear.
You prayed to forgive those who have trespassed against you and to bless your enemies that their hearts would be softened. That is the heart of Jesus. God is able to turn what others intend for evil into blessing for you and your daughter, as He has done throughout Scripture. Continue to pray for your ex and his family that God would soften hearts and restrain any tongue that would seek to harm you or your daughter or your relationship with her. At the same time, trust that God will guard your bond and the safety you provide through His strength.
You also asked about a future husband and about being a vessel for His salvation to others. Marriage in Scripture is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. It is right to ask God, if it is His will, to bring a faithful man who loves Jesus, and to wait on the Lord's timing and leading rather than seeking to fill loneliness quickly. And it is beautiful that you want to bring the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ alone to everyone you meet. Salvation comes through Him alone, and being His vessel begins with abiding in Him, letting His light shine through your words and actions in each space you enter.
For your own path, ask Him for clarity for the next steps, for strength and motivation in your education, and for favor as you learn your new field. Do your work faithfully unto Him, and trust Him with the outcome so you are not put to shame. The promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper does not mean no difficulty will come, but that no weapon will ultimately succeed in separating you from His love and His purpose when you are in Christ.
