We lift you and your precious daughter up to the Lord with heavy and compassionate hearts, standing in the gap for your protection, provision, and peace. Your cry for safety, justice, and God’s intervention has been heard, and we join with you in fervent prayer, declaring the promises of God over your lives.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We declare that no weapon formed against this mother and her child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every scheme of the enemy, every lie, manipulation, and false accusation, designed to separate this mother from her daughter. We command every evil plan to be exposed and dismantled in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we pray for divine protection over them both. Surround them with Your holy angels, encamp around them, and let no harm come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10-11). Shield their minds and hearts from fear, anxiety, and the pollution of evil words. Let them walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarded by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we ask that You bind the tongues of those who seek to speak harm against them. Let every word spoken against them fall to the ground, and let the truth be revealed in every situation, especially in matters involving CPS and legal proceedings. Give this mother wisdom, discernment, and favor as she navigates these challenges. Guide her words, her actions, and her decisions so that they align with Your will and bring glory to Your name.

We pray for her ex and his family, Lord. Soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth. Melt their hardness, and let them see the impact of their words and actions on this child and her mother. Turn their hearts toward repentance and reconciliation, if it be Your will, but above all, let Your justice prevail. Father, we also lift up this mother’s desire for a godly husband. We ask that You prepare her heart and the heart of the man You have for her. Let him be a man of faith, integrity, and love, who will cherish her and her daughter as Christ cherishes the Church. Lead him to her in Your perfect timing, and let their union be a testament to Your goodness and grace. Until that time, Lord, be her strength, her provider, and her protector.

Father, we declare that today and every day, this mother and daughter will walk in Your favor. Not in fear, but simply as a way to stay grounded and prepared if questions arise. It can help you breathe a little easier, knowing the truth is written down where it can’t be twisted.

When your mind spins with worry about court or what others might say, remind yourself: God is not a God of confusion. Even in a system that feels impersonal, He sees every detail and can guide the hearts of those who hold your daughter’s case. You don’t have to orchestrate forced outcomes, you just keep loving your daughter well, cooperating with what’s required, and trusting Him with what you cannot control.

The cry of your heart rises like incense before the throne, yet mark this, faith does not measure the love of God by the presence of storms but by the certainty that the Pilot holds the wheel. You plead for a bubble of love, a shielding from tongues that wound and hearts that scheme. Such a refuge is found not in the absence of trial but in the weaned child’s repose. My soul is even as a weaned child. The weaned child has left off fretting for what it once demanded; it lies still upon the mother’s breast, content with her nearness, asking no reasons, kicking against no providences. Do not exercise yourself in great matters or in things too high for you. The court dates, the ### documents, the whispers of slander, these are the Lord’s to dissolve. When His presence comes down, the mountains of accusation flow away like glaciers in summer’s sun. He has made a household whereof you and your child are companion parts, and no axe of judgment forged by human lies can sever what the Divine Architect has joined in the bundle of life.

You ask that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and the promise stands sure. But remember the weapon often takes the shape of fear itself, that evil imagination which marries pride and kindles a blaze within. Divine interpositions do not always come as bolts from heaven; they come as the gentle bending of the Most High to your weakness. As a father talks in childish lisp to his little one, so He stoops to direct you. The guidance you crave is already given through great principles infused by grace, avoid everything that is evil, walk in submission to the divine will, and let haste be slain. Haste is the mother of mischief. When you rush to justify yourself before men, you step into the false way, the self-condemning path. It is God that justifieth; who is he that condemneth? Let Him clear your name. Let Him melt the heart of your adversary. You cannot soften wax with a hammer; only the sun’s warmth can do it. So cease your own striving, and let the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings upon that hardened soul.

Yet I must press a sharper point, for the gospel is not flattery but a two-edged sword. While you ask blessings upon your enemies and forgiveness for all, search your own heart. Holiness and love are the marks of the true child of God. Where these are not to be found, no claim of safety holds. Are there false words hiding in the corners of your own mouth? Has your tongue always gone with truth, or have there been expressions crafted to gain sympathy rather than to honor Christ? The enemies of the cross are not merely those who oppose you; they are any who profess Christ yet walk in the flesh, crying for safety but coddling secret sin. I do not charge you, but I charge you to examine yourself. The dry tree by grace may flourish; the green tree, deserted by the dew of heaven, shall dry up. Be not high-minded, but fear. The right decisions and the right pathway you seek will not be found by staring at the waves of your trouble but by fixing your eyes upon the Bridegroom who gave Himself for you. He did nothing for Himself; it was all for you.

Now, go forward. The Divine Presence dissolves difficulties. It will dissolve the lies, the manipulation, the fear that clings to your skirts. Expect the same results from His presence that saints have known in ages past, remarkable preservations, deliverance from floods of trouble, a table spread in the wilderness. You shall afterward be received to glory, and between now and then every step is ordered. The low tree, fostered by the Husbandman, shall mount to the stars. Walk as a weaned child. Let your desires lie still. Contentment in His will is the fortress no accusation can breach. When you must speak to ### or any authority, let your answers be simple, unadorned with anxious justification. A false position cannot be excused by a childlike spirit; the childlike spirit does what the Father says and leaves the outcome with Him. He will send the right helpers, and He will give you eyes to see them. No tenderness of yours can exceed His; He cannot forget you more than a woman could forget her sucking child. Fear not the court, nor the tongue, nor the future. The Lord is your Shield and your exceeding great Reward.

You pour out many words, anxious for your safety and your child’s. But consider the angel’s command to Joseph: “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, and flee into Egypt.” The Lord Himself, from the swaddling clothes, was a fugitive. Did God not guard Him? He preserved Him, but not apart from flight and hardship. So do not imagine that divine protection means a life without storms. The Apostle Paul escaped the tribunal only to meet shipwreck; yet through that very storm he saved souls, and even the breaking of the ship became a blessing. God permits trials to anchor our faith and display His power, not to destroy us.

You plead that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. This is true in the spirit: if you cling to Christ, no earthly loss can wound your soul. But if your whole desire is to keep your child by your side and avoid every trouble, you resemble a child who cries for a plaything. When we no longer grasp so tightly at worldly comforts, God often grants them to us freely, and they cease to harm us. Seek first the kingdom, and let these other things be added or withheld according to His wisdom.

You pray for your enemies, that their hearts melt and their lies be exposed. That is excellent. Yet do more than pray; forgive from the heart. Bind yourself to them in the bond of peace. A goodly bond is that, and it frees you even if the other remains chained in malice. Do not let bitterness pollute your own mind, for the poison harms the vessel that holds it. Leave judgment to the Lord; your part is to love your daughter and train her in the fear of God, not with anxious protection but with a calm trust that He holds you both. No earthly power can sever a bond knit in Christ.

Look to the cross, where Jesus committed His mother to the beloved disciple. He did not spare her grief, but He wove them together in charity. So you, too, focus on knitting your heart to your child in a love rooted in heaven, not in fragile circumstances. If human courts separate you for a time, God can still unite you in spirit. Let your daughter see a mother who trembles more at sin than at any earthly loss.

Do not ask for a bubble of love or safe spaces, as though the world owed you ease. Take up the cross. “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame.” The right path is seldom the one free of pain, but the one that leads to eternal life. Forgive those who trespass against you, and you will find forgiveness. Pray for your ex, not only that he desist, but that he be saved, that is a prayer for blessing indeed. Whether a husband comes or not, Christ is the Bridegroom of your soul, and no one can take that union from you.

So go forth, not with a checklist of demands, but with open hands. Tend to your studies and your duties with diligence, but hold them lightly. Speak truth to those who examine your case, and then trust that Truth Himself will defend you. You desire to be a vessel of salvation; then let your own heart first be filled with the peace that passes understanding. For nothing, neither principalities nor powers nor any other creature, can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Your prayer shows the heart of a mother pleading for her child’s safety, for truth to prevail over lies, and for God Himself to take control. That is the very place you need to be, because safety belongs to the Lord, not to our own preparations. A horse may be prepared for battle, but deliverance comes from Him alone. Right now, every fear about court dates, CPS files, and what your ex may do is an invitation to lean on the Lord’s understanding instead of your own sight. Lay those anxieties down again and again, and let Jesus truly take the wheel.

The deepest protection you can give your daughter is to train her in the way she should go. That means far more than keeping her physically safe. What is the goal you have for her? If you only train her toward outward safety or success, you might raise a secure child who remains spiritually lost. But God’s promise is that if you train a child in His ways, when she is old she will not depart from it. So while you pray over every space you enter today, do not neglect the quiet daily work of teaching her the Scriptures. From a child, the Scriptures are able to make a person wise for salvation. The Word of God is the seed that brings spiritual life and helps us partake of His divine nature. Let your home be soaked in that, and you will be building a foundation no false accusation can dismantle.

What you face from your ex and others, the manipulation, the lies, the slander, is exactly what the word “diabolos” describes. It is a slanderer’s work. But remember that unfounded accusations cannot stand when they are brought into the light. Paul faced accusers who made flowery speeches but brought no witnesses. He did not panic; he simply rested in the truth and trusted the legal process because he knew God saw it all. The same Lord who sets a child in the midst of His disciples and warns anyone against despising little ones sees every word spoken against you. He will not let false testimony have the final say. Let that truth quiet the panic that rises when you imagine weapons being formed.

Be careful, though, that you do not give your ear to voices that promise peace when there is no peace. False prophets often say things that are ninety-five percent true, and they comfort people in a way that keeps them from what they actually need. Not everyone who claims to speak a blessing into your situation is sent from God. Some will tell you everything will be easy or that a perfect husband will appear tomorrow; that may sound pleasant, but you need a faith that can walk through the hardest days with Christ. The way up is down. The way into the kingdom is to become as a little child, humble, dependent, without the driving ambition to control every outcome. Let your own heart become that child’s heart before the Father. That simple trust will guard you far more than any scheme for self-protection.

You asked for a future husband, and that desire is not hidden from God. His divine ideal is one marriage for life. We live in a time of much hardness of heart, and the law made allowance for divorce because of that hardness. But if the Lord has a man of faith for you, He will bring him in His own time and in a way that lines up with His will. You do not need to grasp for that now. Your pressing call is to be the mother your daughter needs, patient as you teach her to walk spiritually, expecting stumbles, yet firmly and lovingly guiding her back. Discipline that is done with warmth and clear limits is not abuse; it’s a gift that drives foolishness far from a child. But be cautious: the kind of punishment that springs from your own frustration has no value. Train with the same gentle hand you long for from the Lord.

Fear can make you feel as though a sword is already piercing your soul, much like the word spoken over Mary that her own heart would be pierced. Jesus, the Child born in Bethlehem, was set for the fall and rising of many. He knows what it is to be opposed, slandered, and pursued by earthly powers. Yet God was at work arranging every detail, even using a census to move Mary and Joseph where the prophecy required. If the Lord can orchestrate nations for the birth of a Child in the right town, He can oversee the details of a CPS case and the timing of your education. Let that truth train your mind to stop running worst-case scenarios as if you were the one responsible for holding back every evil.

Pray for your enemies. Melt their hearts, yes, but begin by asking God to keep your own heart from being polluted by the same slander and fear that they spew. You are called to be a vessel of salvation to everyone you meet today. That is far more important than winning a legal battle or being vindicated in the eyes of others. If you walk by faith and not by the dread of what people might say, the fruit of your actions will be a blessing your daughter can taste. She will feel loved not because you managed to keep every threat away, but because the peace of Christ is filling your home even while the storm rages outside.

Receive the kingdom as a little child yourself. A child knows how to trust a good father without needing all the answers. When you don’t know what step to take, quiet your heart and remember that the hearing ear and the seeing eye are made by the Lord. He will give you clarity as you go. He will turn even the evil moves of others into blessings, just as He turned the fury of Paul’s accusers into an opportunity for the gospel to reach Rome. Trust that, and let today be spent in a bubble not of denial, but of childlike faith, believing that Jesus is present, that His blood covers you and your daughter, and that no weapon formed against you will prosper, because the final word belongs to Him.
