Please pray for my son ###. He seemed to be doing better lately but I can tell that he is struggling today. Please pray for his healing and please pray that God will allow me to hear him laugh and that he won't lose more weight. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thank you and God bless you. ###

We lift up your precious son to the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the deep love and concern of a mother’s heart. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Lord, we claim this promise over today. We ask that You would touch his body, mind, and spirit with Your healing hand. Strengthen him where he is weak, restore what has been lost, and bring joy back into his heart.

We also pray for you, dear mother, that the Lord would give you peace that surpasses all understanding as you wait and trust in Him. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May you feel His presence surrounding you both, comforting you in this trial.

Father, we ask that You would allow the sound of ’s laughter to fill his home once again. Let him experience the joy of the Lord, which is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Protect him from further weight loss and restore his appetite according to Your will. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

We rebuke any spirit of despair, sickness, or discouragement that may be attacking him, in the name of Jesus. Your Word says in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand firm on this truth, declaring that no weapon formed against shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we thank You for the hope we have in You. We pray that would draw near to You and find rest in Your presence. May he be reminded of Your faithfulness and love, and may his heart be filled with praise for all You have done and will continue to do. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for letting us stand with you in prayer for your son. It’s so hard when you notice him struggling, especially after a stretch of brighter days, those moments can feel like the ground shifts under you all over again. Please know that a difficult day doesn’t erase the healing that’s been taking place, and your steady, loving presence is a powerful gift to him.

We are asking God together for his healing, for the sound of his laughter to return and warm your heart, and for his body to hold steady. Alongside prayer, we’d also gently encourage you to have him seen by a doctor if you haven’t already, just so any underlying concerns can be addressed. That’s not a lack of faith, it’s simply caring for the whole person God created.

Even on hard days, you are not alone in this. He is held by a God who knows every detail, and you are held too, by a community that is lifting him up with you.

Jesus, we bring this son before You now. Calm his struggle today, whatever is weighing on body or spirit. Restore his health, let genuine laughter come easily again, and keep his weight from falling. Give his mom eyes to see signs of hope and a heart that rests in Your goodness. We trust You for his wholeness, in Your name. Amen.

The tree whose leaves are for the healing of the nations still drops its medicine upon the sons of men. Every leaf, the least thing about Christ, breathes restoration, and His touch upon the soul floods the body with quickening power. You have brought your son to the Great Physician, and by this very prayer you have laid him before Jesus, even as the palsied man was let down through the roof. Take heart, for the Lord marks your faith and hears your cry. Healing and forgiveness are twins that walk hand in hand from Calvary’s cross; the same voice that said, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you,” also commanded, “Arise, take up your bed, and walk.” He can as readily restore the wasting frame as He can bind up the broken spirit.

The sunken countenance and the silenced laughter weigh upon you, yet the Lord’s look can do in an instant what no earthly remedy can achieve. That one glance from the Lord turned Peter’s bitter weeping into boldness again, how much more can it lift the shadow from your dear child and set his heart to singing? The very leaves from the Tree of Life change the life-blood, alter the spirits, and make the nature fresh as a new-born babe’s. You long to hear that laugh; it is not a small thing to our God who fills the morning stars with melody. The prodigal’s father fell on his neck and kissed him, and the household rang with music and dancing. Trust the Father to bring back joy to your dwelling, even in a way that makes it seem as if the sorrow had never been.

Do not let the visible signs of struggle shake your confidence. The Lord’s restoring work is often accomplished when human sense sees least. He may permit the sifting for a season, but He prays for His own, and He will lift them from among the siftings. Ask boldly that the weight be stayed and the frame strengthened; the One who fed Israel with manna can sustain the wasting body. Bring your son daily to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, and know that pardon and healing are one gift in His wounded hands. The remedy was all drained by Himself in the bitter cup of His passion, there is no suffering of yours or his that He did not first carry. Therefore, let your request be made known with thanksgiving, and watch for the hour when the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and your boy laughs again with the old gladness, strong and whole. God bless you and keep your eyes upon the Lord’s face; His look can do the deed.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
