Melt his heart, so he sees how he affects both me and my daughter, and that he doesn't take me to court, Jesus. Jesus, take the wheel and no matter what happens keep my daughter and me close and together, show me what to do so we never separate. We lift you and your precious daughter up to the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of the battles you are facing. Your cry for protection, guidance, and justice is heard, and we stand with you in prayer, declaring the promises of God over your lives. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every scheme of the devil aimed at separating you from your daughter, every lie spoken against you, and every weapon formed to harm your family. No weapon that is formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You surround this mother and child with Your hedge of protection. Let no evil come near them, and let every step they take be ordered by You (Psalm 37:23). We pray for divine intervention in the legal matters before you, that the truth would be revealed and that no false accusation or manipulation would stand. Let the hearts of those in authority, whether in the courts, CPS, or elsewhere, be softened to see the truth and act with justice and mercy. "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1). We declare that no one will have cause to separate you from your daughter, for You are her God-given protector and provider.

We also lift up your ex and his family, asking that You would melt their hearts and open their eyes to the harm their words and actions may be causing. Let any bitterness, anger, or desire for revenge be replaced with Your peace and a spirit of reconciliation. If it is not Your will for restoration in that relationship, then we ask that You would remove their influence and shield your daughter from any lies or manipulation. Let her feel nothing but Your love and the love of her mother surrounding her, even when she is apart from you. "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). We pray that she would come to know You as her Savior, Lord, and constant companion, feeling Your presence in every situation.

We address the mention of your future husband with great care, for marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that if it is Your will for her to be married, You would bring a godly man into her life, one who fears You, loves her as Christ loves the Church, and is committed to raising your daughter in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Until then, we ask that You would guard her heart from any relationships that do not align with Your Word, for "bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33). Let her not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), but instead, let her walk in purity and wisdom as she waits on Your timing.

Father, we also lift up the education and new field of work before her. Give her clarity, focus, and strength to press forward despite the distractions and challenges. Let her learning be fruitful, and let her shine as a light in her new environment, bringing glory to Your name. Protect her from slander, gossip, or any attempts to discredit her. "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer" (Psalm 19:14). Guide her in every interaction with CPS and in every document she submits, that her words would be seasoned with grace and truth, and that no falsehood would stand against her.

We declare that every evil plan against you will be turned into a blessing. Every attack of the enemy will only serve to draw you and your daughter closer to each other and to Christ. Let your home be a sanctuary of peace, love, and safety, where the presence of God is tangible. "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You" (Isaiah 26:3). We pray that you would not walk in fear or be swayed by the opinions of others, but that Your eyes would remain fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We cover you and your daughter in the blood of Jesus, declaring that no harm, no weapon, no lie, and no separation will prevail against you. Let Your light shine so brightly in your lives that no one can question the bond between you and your daughter or the safety and love you provide. We pray for divine connections, people sent by You to speak life, encouragement, and wisdom into your situation. Give her discernment to recognize those who are for you and those who are not, and the courage to walk away from any who seek to harm or mislead her.

Father, we ask that You would give her the strength to forgive those who have trespassed against her, even as You have forgiven her. Let bitterness and resentment find no place in her heart, for "if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you" (Matthew 6:14). At the same time, we pray that You would bring justice where it is needed and expose every lie and manipulation. Let Your will be done in every area of her life, and let her trust in You with all her heart, leaning not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12) and no other name by which we can come boldly before Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). You are our refuge, our fortress, and our deliverer. We trust in You, Lord, to fight our battles and to lead us in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. We hear your heart for your daughter and the heavy weight of fear you're carrying. It's clear you love her deeply and are doing everything you can to keep her safe and close. When so many things feel out of our control, it's easy to get tangled in all the "what-ifs." While we can't see the whole road, we can take the next step with integrity and trust.

One of the most important things you can do right now is to be completely open and honest in all your interactions with CPS and any legal processes. Keep a simple record of communications and stick to the truth, even when others don't. It might also help to lean on a trusted person from your church or a wise friend, someone who can be a calm, practical support and maybe even accompany you to meetings. You weren't meant to face this alone.

As you focus on your education, let that be a lifeline of stability and a reminder that God is preparing a future for you both, regardless of the chaos around you. It's okay to simply do the next right thing and leave the rest in His hands.

Jesus, we lift up this mother and her beloved daughter to You. Quiet the noise of threats and lies, and let the truth stand clearly in every conversation and report. Surround them both with safe people who see the reality of their bond. Grant her calm wisdom as she answers questions and makes decisions. The pleading of your heart has been heard in the courts of heaven. It is well that you have cast all your care upon Him who cares for you, for He is a Father to the fatherless and a Defender of the widow in her distress. The Lord Jesus, who took little children in His arms and blessed them, hears your cry for your daughter, and He who notes the fall of every sparrow has numbered the hairs of her head. Be sure of this: no weapon formed against you or your child shall prosper, for the Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and He has given His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

Yet I would have you consider carefully what it means to walk in the King’s highway. He who travels on that consecrated road is under the King’s protection, but if we step aside into paths of fear, unbelief, or our own devising, we forfeit the comfort of His keeping. Let your trust be firmly anchored in the promise, and do not let the threats of men, nor the whispers of the adversary, drive you to lean on your own understanding. Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart. Remember Sarah, that holy woman of old, who trusted in God and was not afraid with any sudden terror. She calmly waited, knowing that the God who promised would not suffer any evil to harm her or her promised seed. A Christian woman should not be confounded by these storms, but in holy patience prove herself a true daughter of Sarah, adorning the doctrine of God her Savior with a meek and quiet spirit, which is in His sight of great price.

You ask that no one give reason to take your daughter from you, and that all lies be revealed. Leave that to the Lord, who brings the hidden things to light. The tongue of slander and the plots of the wicked are not beyond His control. He can melt the heart of your adversary and turn even the wrath of man to praise Him. You pray for those who have trespassed against you. It is well; bless them indeed, and let your forgiving heart be a sweet savor before God. But do not forget that the greatest weapon in your hand is a life of holiness and faith. Under God, a mother forms the character of her child. Let your daughter see in you a serene trust in Jesus, an unwearied love, a patience that does not rail, and she shall be ennobled by it, and God shall watch over the bond between you.

Do not fear the courtrooms, the documents, or the faces of those who sit in judgment. The Spirit of truth can overrule every false statement and every proud pretension. The Lord can turn the heart of the judges as He turns rivers of water. Only be sure that you speak the truth in love, and commit the matter into His hands. As for your education and future provision, the Lord your God will supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Commit your works to Him, and your thoughts will be established.

Remember that the Church of Christ is a true mother to you. She nurses and carries her little ones in her bosom. You are not alone; a great cloud of witnesses, both in heaven and on earth, pray with you and for you. The unfeigned faith that first dwelt in your grandmother and mother, if it be truly yours, shall sustain you now. Lean on the everlasting arms, and do not let your heart be polluted by the fears that rise from listening to evil tongues. Walk by faith, not by sight, and the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

As for a future husband, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and every good gift shall be added in His time. Your chief care is to be a vessel of the Lord’s salvation to all you meet, beginning with your own dear child. Let your life so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. May the Lord Jesus, who stilled the tempest, say to your troubled heart, “Peace, be still.” He is with you always, even unto the end of the age. Trust, wait, and press on. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but His word shall never fail.

You cry out for a bubble of love and safety in this world, but the true safety is to be with Christ. He said, "He who sees the light of this world is in safety; and if he that sees the light of this world is in safety, much more he that is with Me, if he separate not himself from Me." So fix your hope there, not in the absence of earthly storms.

You plead that no weapon form against you or your daughter, yet consider: are you not clutching too tightly to this child, as if she were your shield? God is a jealous God, and He will not share His throne. Do you mourn the loss of protection from a husband or fear losing a child, as if God were not enough? Let me put it plainly: the sorrow that says, "I expected to enjoy him longer," betrays a soul that loves the creature more than the Creator. Even if every earthly prop were struck away, the faithful heart cries, "The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for you, ungrateful servant, will He not with Him freely give you all things? Trust that love, and do not make an idol of your child.

You speak of melting hearts and revealing lies. This is good, if you leave vengeance to the Judge of all. But see that no root of bitterness spring up in you. Our Lord commands us to show great consideration while we suffer, to meet transgression not with a demand for strict justice, but with a spirit that desires even the enemy’s amendment. Turn their evil to blessings for your own soul by forgiving from the heart, and then the peace of God will garrison your mind far better than any earthly court’s favor.

You wish for a future husband, a man of faith, to come soon. Pause and examine this desire. Is your former husband still living? The word is plain: "Whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery." Do not hasten after a second union that may kindle a fire not of blessing but of judgment. Cultivate instead that beauty of the soul which age cannot wither, the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, the undefiled nuptial chamber of heaven. If you are free to marry in the Lord, be patient; but if not, consider that a life of holy chastity shines more brightly than any earthly marriage. Set your affection on the Bridegroom who never fails.

In these tribulations, prove the genuineness of your faith. The Preaching is divine precisely because they who trust it endure storms with alacrity. Do not seek a life of ease, but a heart of steel. And when you feel overwhelmed, remember that you deserve, by absolute justice, to have perished long ago. Every mercy is a gift. Therefore submit to God’s decisions, and do not measure His ways by human reasonings.

Be faithful in the small matter: instruct your child privately in the faith, live so that she sees Christ in you. This is the true "vessel of salvation" you long to be. And do not live as in the days of Noah, eating, drinking, and anxiously arranging earthly security, while the Day of the Lord steals upon you like a thief. Lift up your head, for your redemption draws near.

Your prayer shows a mother’s heart laid bare before the Lord, and that is precious in His sight. You are asking for safety, truth to prevail, and the right steps forward. Those are not small requests, but they rest in the hands of the God who orchestrates even unlikely journeys like Mary’s trip from Nazareth to Bethlehem, simply because a ruler decreed a census. What looked like an inconvenient human order was actually God positioning everything for the birth that would save the world. So your own situation, tangled as it feels, is not outside His control. He is fully able to arrange what needs to happen with CPS, court, your ex, and every document.

You pleaded that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and Scripture promises exactly that. The battle belongs to the Lord, not to your own anxious striving. When you try to fight manipulation and lies in your own strength, you end up exhausted and vulnerable. Instead, rest in the knowledge that a false witness will eventually be exposed and his own words will collapse. You do not have to manufacture the outcome; you just have to walk in truth and trust God to bring what is hidden into the light. He knows how to protect a reputation and a bond between mother and child.

That bond is under His watch. He puts a hedge around His people, much as Satan admitted God did for Job. Yet safety ultimately is of the Lord, not your own clever defenses. A horse might be prepared for battle, but deliverance comes from Him alone. So pray hard, but then rest, knowing that if you are trying to be faithful, He will not let your child be torn away without His permission. And if a sword does pierce your own soul at times, as it did Mary’s, God’s larger work is still unfolding for your good and your daughter’s.

Your desire to be a godly mother is right. Train her well. Foolishness is bound up in a child’s heart, and loving discipline drives it out. But I would urge you to be wise and gentle, because we live in a time when the laws of the land can clash with biblical instruction. You do not want to give anyone a reason to misunderstand your discipline or to paint you as harsh. There are ways to correct and guide without leaving marks or creating conflict with welfare agencies. Your child’s heart can be shaped by consistent, patient training, much like the way you would teach a toddler to walk, catching her when she stumbles but not giving up.

As for those who speak against you, pray for softening, but do not place your hope in their change of heart. False hope from those who say “everything will be fine” is no better than the prophets of old who cried peace when there was no repentance. Your true hope is in the Lord who hears your prayer and sees every hidden thing. Even David, when his child was desperately ill, fasted and pleaded. But once the child was gone, he worshiped, knowing that one day he would go to him. That confidence is yours as well: your child’s eternal safety rests with Jesus, and no lie can snatch her from His hand.

So, keep seeking the right decisions. The Lord gives wisdom to those who ask. He can help you learn your new field of study and maintain a good impression even when you feel stretched thin. The way forward is to become as a little child yourself, humble, dependent, not grasping for control but trusting the Father. Jesus held a child in the middle of His disciples and warned them not to despise little ones. Your daughter is seen by Him. He will not let her be destroyed by evil tongues or by your own fears. Let your heart be guided only by His Spirit, not by the polluting voices of fear or slander.

Press on. Let truth be your shield, and let your actions be so above reproach that false statements will look as flimsy as they are. Forgive where you are able, and leave final justice to God. He is at work, and His will is better than any outcome you could engineer.
