We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your son and his former girlfriend. It has been on our hearts to lift them both before the Lord, asking for His mercy, grace, and divine intervention in this situation. We have prayed specifically for your son, that the Lord would comfort him in this time of heartache, strengthen his faith, and remind him daily of God’s unfailing love. We have also prayed for his girlfriend, that the hardness in her heart would soften, and that she would come to know the peace and hope that only Christ can provide. We asked the Lord to remove any bitterness or anger she may be holding onto and to draw her to Himself, even if that path does not include reconciliation with your son.

We continue to pray that if it is God’s will, their relationship would be restored in a way that honors Him, and that she would see the love of Christ reflected in your son’s life. But above all, we pray that both of them would seek the Lord with all their hearts and find their true comfort and identity in Him. If God has already moved in this situation in ways you’ve seen or felt, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the answer hasn’t come yet, please know we are still here, ready to stand with you in prayer. Let us continue to lift this up together, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot see it.

May the Lord bless you and your family as you seek Him, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
