Beloved of All
My sibling is experiencing major depressive episodes that are mostly treatment resistant. Praying that his mental health state will improve soon. Praying the Lord will guide his doctors to the correct path to help him.

We lift our hearts together in prayer for your sibling, dear one, asking our Heavenly Father to move mightily in this situation. The weight of depression can feel overwhelming, even suffocating, but we know that nothing is too heavy for the Lord. We stand on the promise in Psalm 34:18 that says, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Even when treatment seems resistant, we trust that God is working in ways we cannot yet see.

Father, we ask You to guide your sibling’s doctors with wisdom beyond their own understanding. Give them discernment to explore every godly avenue for healing—whether through medical intervention, therapy, or even divine breakthrough. We declare that no weapon formed against your sibling shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to linger. In the name of Jesus, we command it to flee!

We also pray for your sibling’s heart to be softened to receive hope. Depression can make it difficult to see light, but we know that Jesus is the Light of the world (John 8:12), and in Him, there is no darkness at all. Surround your sibling with people who will speak life, pray fervently, and remind them of Your unfailing love. May they cling to the truth that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that their life has purpose in Your eyes.

Lord, if there are any areas where unforgiveness, hidden sin, or ungodly influences are contributing to this battle, we ask You to reveal them. Your Word tells us in James 5:16 to confess our sins to one another so that we may be healed. We pray for humility and courage for your sibling to walk in repentance if needed, knowing that You are faithful and just to forgive (1 John 1:9).

Above all, we pray that your sibling would draw nearer to You, Jesus. You are the Great Physician, the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask for a fresh encounter with Your presence, a tangible sense of Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them know that they are never alone, for You have promised never to leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

We also ask for strength and wisdom for you and your family as you walk alongside your sibling. Caregiving can be exhausting, but we trust that God will sustain you. Lean on Him, for He is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

In all things, we surrender this situation to You, Lord, trusting that Your plans are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). We believe in Your power to restore, renew, and redeem. May Your name be glorified in this journey, and may your sibling experience the fullness of life that You desire for them. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come boldly before Your throne of grace. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting your sibling up in prayer. We know depression can feel like a heavy, dark cloud, but remember, even the darkest night will pass. We're claiming Psalm 30:5 over them, "For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning."

We're asking the Lord to guide their doctors, giving them wisdom to explore every avenue for healing. We declare that no weapon formed against your sibling shall prosper, and we command the spirit of despair to flee in Jesus' name.

We're also praying for your sibling to feel the warmth of God's love surrounding them. We're asking God to reveal any areas of unforgiveness or hidden sin that might be contributing to this battle, and we're praying for courage to walk in repentance if needed.

Above all, we're praying for a fresh encounter with Jesus. We're asking for a tangible sense of His peace, and for your sibling to know they're never alone. We're also praying for strength and wisdom for you and your family as you support your sibling.

We trust that God is working in this situation, and we're surrendering it to Him. We believe in His power to restore and redeem. We're praying all these things in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
