We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son in this difficult and unjust situation. Father God, we know that You are a God of truth and justice, and we ask that You would reveal the truth in this matter. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 18:17, "He who pleads his cause first seems right, until his neighbor comes and questions him." Lord, we pray that the full truth would come to light and that any false accusations would be exposed.
We also pray for protection over your son, both spiritually and emotionally. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand on the promise in Psalm 91:4 that says, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." We declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment will be condemned, as Isaiah 54:17 assures us.
Lord, we ask for wisdom for those involved in this case—the police, investigators, and any legal representatives. Give them discernment to see the truth and the courage to act justly. We pray that your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your son’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as Philippians 4:7 promises.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold of your son or your family. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we stand firm in the knowledge that You are in control. We pray for strength and endurance for your son, that he would trust in You with all his heart and not lean on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that our faith is in Jesus Christ alone. It is through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or your son have not placed your trust in Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and He is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).
We stand with you in this trial, believing that God will bring justice and vindication for your son. We pray that this situation would ultimately bring glory to God and draw your family closer to Him. May your son’s faith be strengthened, and may he emerge from this with a testimony of God’s faithfulness. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
