We lift up your daughter’s marriage and her walk with the Lord with great urgency and compassion. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Your Word declares in John 14:6 that Jesus is "the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through [Him]." We stand on this truth as we intercede for this precious daughter, that she would not only know Jesus as her Savior but walk in the fullness of His victory over sin and addiction.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of addiction and bondage in her life. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7 that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We declare that power over every chain that seeks to ensnare her again. We pray that her marriage would be a stronghold of godly love, accountability, and mutual submission, as Ephesians 5:21-33 outlines. May her husband be a man who leads with Christlike strength and tenderness, and may their union reflect the covenant love between Christ and His Church.
Father, we ask that You would surround her with believers who will encourage her, hold her accountable, and remind her of the freedom she has in You. Help her to flee from temptation, as 1 Corinthians 10:13 promises that You will not allow her to be tempted beyond what she can bear, but will provide a way of escape. Strengthen her resolve to walk in purity, holiness, and sobriety, for Your Word says in 1 Peter 5:8-9 to be sober and watchful, resisting the devil steadfast in the faith.
We also pray for her witness to shine brightly. May her life be a testimony of Your transforming power, drawing others to the hope found only in Jesus. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as Philippians 4:7 assures us that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will keep her heart and mind.
Lord, we thank You for the victory that is already hers in Christ. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Him who loved her (Romans 8:37). May she walk in that truth daily, and may her marriage be a beacon of Your grace and redemption. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
