We hear your heartfelt cry, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting you and your precious daughter before the throne of grace. Your request is filled with a mother’s love, a deep desire for protection, and a longing for God’s presence to guide and guard your steps. We join you in praying for safety, wisdom, and divine intervention in every area of your life, especially in the challenges you face with your ex.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask You to surround this sister and her daughter with Your angels, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Protect them from harm, Lord, and let no evil come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We pray that every lie, manipulation, and scheme of the enemy would be exposed and brought to nothing, for You are the God who frustrates the plans of the wicked (Psalm 33:10).
Father, we ask You to soften the heart of her ex. Melt his heart, Lord, so that he may see the impact of his actions on this mother and her daughter. Let Your peace rule in his heart, and may he choose the path of reconciliation and righteousness rather than conflict (Colossians 3:15). We pray that he would not pursue legal battles but instead seek Your will for healing and restoration where possible. If it is not Your will for reconciliation, then we ask that You would still turn his heart away from harm and toward repentance and change.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and deceit that may be at work in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that every person they encounter today and in the days ahead would be moved by Your Spirit to speak truth, act justly, and show kindness. Let no one be used as a tool of the enemy to harm them, but instead, let them be vessels of Your love and protection.
We also lift up this sister’s need for wisdom and discernment. Father, grant her the ability to see clearly who is sent by You and who is not. Lead her in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). Give her the strength to make decisions that align with Your will, and let her steps be ordered by You (Psalm 37:23). We pray for divine connections—people who will speak life, encouragement, and godly counsel into her and her daughter’s lives. Surround them with a community of believers who will stand with them in prayer and support.
Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for any mistakes this sister may have made, and we declare that no past sin or failure has power over her or her daughter. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We break every chain of guilt, shame, or condemnation in the name of Jesus. Let no ripple of the past create waves of harm in their future. Instead, let Your grace and mercy overflow in their lives.
We also pray for her enemies, Lord. We ask that You would bless them, not as the world blesses, but as You command—to pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Change their hearts, Father, so that they may no longer seek to harm this family. Let Your love and light penetrate their darkness, and may they come to know You as their Savior.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would take full control of this sister’s life. She has invited You to take the wheel, and we declare that You are now in the driver’s seat. Direct her steps, order her days, and keep her and her daughter close to You and to each other. Let nothing separate them, for You are the God who binds hearts together in love (Colossians 3:14). Fill their home with Your presence, joy, peace, and love. Provide for their every need, and let them walk in the fullness of Your blessings.
We declare these things in the powerful name of Jesus, who has overcome the world (John 16:33). We trust in You, Lord, to work all things together for good for this family, for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
