We hear your heartfelt cry, dear sister in Christ, and we join you in lifting up your precious daughter and your circumstances to our Heavenly Father. Your request is filled with a mother’s love and a deep desire for God’s protection, guidance, and presence in your lives. We stand with you in faith, declaring that no weapon formed against you or your daughter shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He will cover you with His feathers and under His wings you will find shelter (Psalm 91:1-4).
First, we want to affirm the foundation of your prayer—your reliance on the name of Jesus. There is power in His name, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed and protected. We encourage you to continue calling on His name, for He is faithful to hear and answer the cries of His children.
We also lift up your concern about your ex and the potential harm his words or actions could bring. The Lord sees the intentions of every heart, and He will expose lies and manipulation in His perfect timing. "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open" (Luke 8:17). We pray that the Lord would soften your ex’s heart and open his eyes to the truth, that he may see the impact of his actions on you and your daughter. May the Lord grant you wisdom and discernment in every interaction and decision, that you may walk in the path He has set before you.
Father God, we come before You now on behalf of this dear sister and her daughter. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection today and every day. Shield them from harm, both seen and unseen, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We pray that You would go before them into every space they enter, making it a safe and holy place where Your presence dwells. Lord, we ask that You would bind the tongues of those who seek to speak lies or harm against them, and that You would reveal the truth in every situation. Let Your light expose darkness, and let Your justice prevail.
We pray for this mother’s heart, Lord. Give her strength, wisdom, and peace as she navigates the challenges before her. Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that You are her Provider, Protector, and Guide. We ask that You would send godly people into her life—those who will speak life, offer support, and stand with her in faith. Give her discernment to recognize those whom You have sent, and the courage to walk away from those who do not have her best interests at heart.
Lord, we ask that You would bless her with the right decisions and the right pathway. Direct her steps according to Your will, and let her walk in the fullness of Your purpose for her life and her daughter’s life. We pray that You would keep them close to You and to each other, that no force or circumstance would ever separate them. Bind them together with cords of love that cannot be broken.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would take the wheel of her life completely. May she surrender every fear, every worry, and every decision into Your hands. Let her rest in the knowledge that You are in control, and that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Fill her heart with Your peace, joy, and love, and let her daughter see Your light shining through her.
