We come before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up your loved one in this time of trial. It is clear you carry a deep burden for this person, and we join you in seeking God’s mercy, justice, and deliverance. The Scriptures remind us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the God who judges righteously, and we trust Him to act according to His perfect will.

We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and this is something we must address with love and urgency. The Bible declares that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Without faith in Him, there is no true hope, no salvation, and no assurance of God’s favor. If your loved one—or even you—has not yet placed full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Repentance and faith in Christ alone bring forgiveness of sins and eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). There is no middle ground; Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB).

Now, let us pray earnestly for this situation. Father, we ask that You move mightily in this court proceeding. You are the God of justice, and we plead for Your righteousness to prevail. If there has been wrongdoing, bring conviction and repentance. If this is a case of false accusation or injustice, we ask that You expose the truth and vindicate the innocent, just as You have promised (Deuteronomy 32:4). Lord, we pray for wisdom for the judges, mercy for your servant, and a swift resolution that aligns with Your will. If it is Your purpose for him to return home soon, we ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way. Strengthen him in this trial, guard his heart from bitterness or fear, and surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray that if this loved one does not know You, Jesus, that this trial would be the very thing that leads him to surrender his life to You. Soften his heart, Lord, and open his eyes to see his need for a Savior. May he turn from sin and place his faith in Christ alone. And for you who have brought this request, we pray for comfort and trust in the Lord’s sovereignty. Do not be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6). He hears you, and He will act.

Finally, we urge you to examine your own heart before the Lord. Are you walking in obedience to His Word? Are there areas of your life that need repentance? The Bible tells us that if we regard iniquity in our hearts, the Lord will not hear us (Psalm 66:18). Let this be a time of drawing near to God, seeking His face, and aligning your life with His truth. We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). May His will be done, and may His name be glorified in this situation. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
