We lift up your child before the Lord, asking Him to fill them with a spirit of motivation, focus, and diligence in their studies. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 22:6, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* We pray that God would instill in them a love for learning and a heart that seeks wisdom, for *"the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom"* (Proverbs 9:10). May they find strength in Him, knowing that *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13).
We also ask the Lord to guard their mind from distractions and to help them prioritize their responsibilities with excellence. Let them walk in the understanding that *"whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23). May their efforts be blessed, and may they grow in knowledge, discernment, and godly character.
Heavenly Father, we commit this child into Your hands, asking that You would guide their steps and shape their future according to Your perfect will. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in obedience and purpose. Let their light shine in their school, that others may see Christ in them. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. May Your will be done in their life, and may they come to know You more deeply through this season.
We also encourage you, dear parent, to continue covering your child in prayer daily. Speak life and Scripture over them, reminding them of their identity in Christ. *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2). Trust that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in your child’s life.
If your child has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we urge you to share the Gospel with them—that *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). There is no greater foundation for their life than a personal relationship with Christ. May they come to know Him as their Savior and Lord, walking in His wisdom and grace all their days.
