We rejoice with you in the confidence of victory this week, for it is not by our own strength but by the power of God that we overcome. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:57, "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." It is essential to remember that true victory comes from Him alone, and any triumph we experience is a reflection of His grace and mercy in our lives.
However, we must also be cautious of pride, for Proverbs 16:18 warns, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." Let us not boast in our own abilities but rather in the Lord, as Jeremiah 9:23-24 reminds us, "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am Yahweh who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness in the earth, for I delight in these things, says Yahweh."
If this victory is not rooted in the name of Jesus Christ, we must address that. There is no other name by which we can be saved or find true victory. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in Him, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the victory You have given us. We acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we give You all the glory and praise. Lord, we ask that You keep us humble, always remembering that our strength and success come from You alone. Help us to boast only in You and to walk in Your ways.
Father, if this victory has not been claimed in the name of Jesus, we pray that You would open the eyes of the heart to see the truth. We pray for salvation for those who do not yet know You, that they would confess their sins and believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. May they experience the true victory that comes from a relationship with You.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of pride or self-reliance that may be lurking in our hearts. We ask that You fill us with Your Holy Spirit, guiding us in humility and righteousness. Help us to walk in Your victory every day, not just this week, but for all eternity.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
