We have heard your cry for protection and healing for your leg and we join together with you in prayer before our Heavenly Father.
We understand your fear about the pain in your leg and the worry that it might have to be cut, and your desire for kindness and for the injection your step sister gives you to help and not harm you. God sees your suffering and He cares deeply for you. He is our healer and our refuge.
The Scripture reminds us of His healing power and His presence with us in fear, Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. And Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to His promise when we are afraid, Isaiah 41:10 Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

We ask for Your merciful healing hand upon this leg. We pray that You would ease the pain, reduce any infection or disease, restore health and strength, and if it is Your will, preserve this leg from being cut. We pray that the injection given by the step sister would be effective and bring healing and not harm, and we ask You to guide the hands of all doctors and those providing care. Lord, pour out Your kindness through this step sister and through others around, and let Your protection surround this dear one. Cast out fear and fill this heart with Your peace, for Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
