Beloved of All
We have heard your prayer for your son and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace with urgency and with faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
To see a child waste away with severe sickness, losing weight and strength while doctors search without finding a cause, is a heavy and fearful burden. We grieve with you in this suffering and we do not take lightly the pain of watching one you love appear to be near death.
We pray that the Father who loves His Son and has given all things into His hand will have mercy on your son. We ask that Jesus Christ, who healed many when they came to Him in faith and who showed that He is able to do what we ask, would lay His healing hand upon your son. We pray for His power to touch the body that is afflicted with hyperemesis and kidney failure, to restore what is broken, to give wisdom to the physicians who care for him, and if it is His will, to bring a supernatural healing that reveals His goodness and power. We pray also for strength and peace for you as you wait and watch, that you would know you are heard and not alone.
We encourage you to continue to seek faithful medical care while you pray, for God often works through the skill of physicians, and even when many remedies seem to have no effect, He is able in a moment to bring recovery. Keep entrusting your son to Christ, believing that He is able to do this, and resting in the love of the Father who made us His children through His true Son.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, our only Savior. You see this young man in his illness and You know the cause that is hidden from doctors. Have mercy upon him. Touch his body, heal his sickness, restore his kidneys and his strength, and bring him back to health according to Your perfect will. Comfort his parent with Your presence, guard their heart from despair, and fill them with confident trust in Your goodness. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You. Amen.
