We have heard your heart and we are joining with you in prayer for you and your son during this very difficult and stressful time. We understand the heavy burden you are carrying with your own health issues and the deep concern you have for your son at his young age facing these charges, and we want to lift you both before the Lord together.
We pray first for peace and strength for you. The Lord sees your stress and your physical struggles and He invites you to bring them to Him. Scripture tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 to not be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also cling to 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us. We pray that you will experience that guarding peace even in the midst of this uncertainty, and that God will comfort and strengthen your body. He is the one who heals us and sustains us, as Psalm 103:3 says who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, and Isaiah 41:10 reminds us not to be afraid, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We pray for healing for your body and for rest for your soul, and we encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care while trusting the Lord as your ultimate healer and refuge, for Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
We also bring your son and his court case before the throne of grace. We pray for mercy and for justice to be done according to God's perfect will. We do not know the details of the charges or whether wrongdoing has occurred, but we know that God desires truth and righteousness and He is both just and merciful. Proverbs 21:15 says justice brings joy to the righteous, and Micah 6:8 calls us to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God. If your son has done wrong, we pray that he will have the courage to speak the truth, to take responsibility, and to repent before God and before the court, for 1 John 1:9 tells us if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If he is innocent, we pray that the truth will be made clear and that the judges and all involved will act with wisdom and fairness. We pray for favor and mercy if it is God's will to see these charges dismissed, but above all we pray that God's will be done and that this situation will be used to draw your son closer to the Lord and onto a path that honors Him from his youth.

It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other way to be saved or to have our prayers heard. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come to God we must believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. Your sorrow has reached my heart and I have carried your request before the Lord with a tender sympathy for both you and your son. To see a child in jeopardy of the law at a young age, and to bear at the same time the weight of bodily infirmity and heavy stress, is a double trial, and I do not wonder that your spirit is much cast down.
Have you not found already that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, but it empties today of its strength. You tell me that all things seem to be going amiss, and that your health fails under the strain. That is right to feel, but if your anxiety is confined to yourself, no good will come of it. The way of peace is to tell it out to your Father who sees in secret. Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain you.
Remember that wherever God appoints a path, He also appoints the trial that goes with it, yet trial does not last forever. There is a blessed word, until. The word of the Lord tried Joseph when he was falsely accused and bound with fetters, so that the iron entered into his soul, until the time that his word came. Your trial and your son's trial have their until, and the Lord knows its length and its purpose. He who has counted your sleepless nights and seen your tears will not suffer you to be tried above that you are able.
You ask prayer that these charges may be dismissed. I pray with you that if it be consistent with truth and righteousness, the Lord in His mercy would grant a gracious dismissal before the earthly court, that justice tempered with mercy may be done, and that your son may be spared for a life of usefulness. Yet there is a higher court before which we all must stand. The Law, like ten armed legionaries, takes us into custody and holds us fast, for we are all under its curse, being unable to keep it. But blessed be God, there is a dismissal in the court of heaven which is of greater consequence still. When the Lord looks upon His Son Jesus bearing our sin upon the cross, suffering even unto death, He forgets the sins for which His Son gave His life. They are not before Him in court, and come not under His official sight. He will not remember them nor think them over again. This is the gracious dismissal spoken of in the gospel, Go in peace, thy faith hath saved thee. My earnest prayer for your son is that whether the earthly charge be dismissed or must be answered, he may know this heavenly dismissal through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.
And for you, in your health issues and heaviness of spirit, I pray that the Lord would give you that calm which abides in every season, calm in the hour of buoyant health, calm in the hour of pain, calm in poverty or wealth, calm in loss or gain. May He quiet your heart and give you sleep, and renew your strength, and be your physician as well as your peace.
Let us pray together. O Father of mercies, look upon this weary parent and this young man now under the shadow of the law. Thou knowest the truth of this matter, and every charge that is laid. Do that which is right and merciful in the sight of the earthly judges, and let not malice nor error prevail. Grant wisdom to all who have to do with this case, and grant to this mother strength of body and calmness of mind in her infirmity. Above all, bring this son to know himself a sinner under arrest by Thy holy law, and to flee to Jesus who bore the curse for us, that he may receive from Thy lips the word, Thy sins are forgiven, go in peace. Establish them both in faith, keep them from despair, and make this trial work for their eternal good. For Jesus sake. Amen.

I understand the weight you carry, with your own health suffering and your heart troubled for your son at his young age as he faces these charges. It is right to bring all of this to God, who sees both your infirmity and his peril, and who calls us not to despair when we have fallen into trial, and not to be careless when we stand, but to watch and to hope in His mercy.
Scripture tells us to lift up the hands which hang down and the feeble knees, and to awake from sleep and arise. Many who are sick become healthy by the grace of God, and many who have fallen rise again when they turn to Him. So do not give up hope, but keep your eyes on Christ, asking not only for relief from pressure but for what is truly good for both of you according to His will.
I pray for you now, that God would grant you strength in your body, peace in place of heavy stress, and wisdom for each step ahead. May He give you rest, comfort your heart, and sustain you as you wait upon Him.
