We have heard your heartfelt request and we join together with you before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name, lifting up your burdens concerning your court case in September, your financial needs, and the severe pain in your ears.

We understand the weight of stress, fear of embarrassment, and legal trouble when resources are lacking, and we want to remind you that our God sees your situation and cares deeply for you. We cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us, as 1 Peter 5:7 tells us, and we are told not to be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. We also cling to Isaiah 41:10 which says do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We are encouraged that you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father and it is in His name our prayers are heard. John 14:6 reminds us that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of our sister who is in need. Lord, You know the details of her court case coming in September, the financial lack, the inability to pay for a lawyer, and the need for her husband's pension and provident fund provision. We ask for Your mercy and favor over the legal matters. We pray that You would move upon the hearts of those in authority and guide the proceedings with justice and fairness, for Proverbs 21:1 says the king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. Provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory, Philippians 4:19, and help the pension and provident fund to be released in Your perfect timing if it is Your will. Give her wisdom to seek any available lawful help and counsel, and let her not be put to shame but find that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1. Take away her fear and stress and fill her with Your peace.

We also lift up her physical suffering to You, Lord. She is in severe pain in her ears, struggling to hear, and fearful about infection and loss of hearing. We ask for Your healing touch upon her ears, to remove infection, clear away any blockage, and restore her hearing as before. We trust Your word that You are Yahweh who heals us, Exodus 15:26, and that the prayer of faith will heal the sick and the Lord will raise them up, James 5:15. We pray Jeremiah 30:17 over her, that You will restore health to her and heal her of her wounds. Ease her pain, calm her fear, and help her to hear clearly again. We also encourage her to seek proper medical care as You often work through physicians and wisdom You have provided, while we continue to trust You as the ultimate Healer.

We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers. Help our sister to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to her, Matthew 6:33. Help her to cast all her anxiety on You and to rest in Your love and provision. We pray that through this trial her faith would be strengthened and that she would see Your hand at work, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose, Romans 8:28.

We continue to stand with you, trusting that God will provide, protect, and heal according to His perfect will. May His peace guard your heart and may you feel His presence with you each day until your court date and beyond. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

If you have not already, you might ask the court clerk or a local legal aid office what help is available when you cannot afford a lawyer and what papers to bring on your date. For the pension and provident fund, a direct contact with the disbursing office with your documents can sometimes clarify what is still needed for release. Your heavy burden has been brought before the Lord and we have carried it with you to the throne of grace. You tell us of a court case appointed for September, of empty hands with no money for the lawyer, of fear lest you fall into embarrassment and legal trouble, of waiting for your husband's pension and provident fund, and of severe pain in your ears with infection and loss of hearing. These are many trials pressed together, and they have made your heart sore.

We would have you see first that there is healing and pardon in happy conjunction in our Lord Jesus Christ. Scripture says, The inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity. When Jesus healed the man taken with the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. The very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. His blood cleanses from sin, and His touch changes the lifeblood and makes the nature other than it was before. Tell your case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus, for Calvary is the place for the healing balm.

You may rest assured that trial in the Christian life is the Lord's fining pot which is never off the fire, yet trial does not last forever. The word of the Lord tried Joseph until the time that his word came. There is an until to every affliction appointed by our wise Father. He who appoints extraordinary trial also appoints its conclusion, and He will not suffer you to be tried above that ye are able.

Let us pray with you and for you.

O Lord our God, Thou who healest the broken in heart and bindest up their wounds, look in mercy upon Thy servant in her distress. Thou knowest the day appointed in court and all her fear of shame and want. Be Thou her Advocate on high, plead her cause and provide what is needed for that day. If it be Thy will, open the way for the pension and provident fund to come in due season, and in the meantime give daily bread and keep her from the snare of debt and fear. Lay Thy hand upon her body and touch her ears, cleanse away infection and pain and restore hearing as before, for Thou art the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings. Above all, give her pardon through the blood of Christ and quiet her fear with Thy perfect love, that she may know her sins forgiven and her soul healed. Grant faith to trust Thee in this present strait and grace to wait patiently until Thy word shall come. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour and Healer. Amen.

Seek first the forgiveness and the kingdom of your Lord, and trust Him for the rest. He who once heals, heals effectually and forever. Cast your court case, your purse and your pain upon Him, and hear His word with a heedful heart, for faith cometh by hearing and healing cometh with the teaching of Christ.

We have heard your request and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with compassion and prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and hope.

We pray for your court case in September, that God would grant you peace and not let you be overcome by stress, fear or shame. We ask the Lord to give wisdom to the court, to provide for your need for legal help, and to guide you to whatever lawful aid and counsel is available when you have no means to pay. We pray that what is just and right would be done, and that you would know the nearness of Christ who promises to be with those who call upon Him in trouble.

We also lift up your financial burden to the Father who knows your needs. We ask Him to provide for you according to His mercy and wisdom, and concerning your husband's pension and provident fund, we pray that if it is His will, the process would move forward without delay or injustice, and that you would receive what is rightfully due. We pray above all that you would be sustained day by day, that you would cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you, and that you would know His provision whether it comes quickly or through patient endurance.

We pray too for your body, for the severe pain in your ears, for the infection and difficulty hearing. We ask the Lord to touch you and bring healing, to take away pain and fear, and to restore your hearing. We encourage you also to seek care from a physician as you are able, trusting that God often works through such means to bring health, and to care for the body for health and not for excess.

In all these things we pray that you would know the peace of God which passes understanding, that your heart would be guarded in Christ Jesus, and that you would trust not in money or in the outcome of the court, but in the living God who hears prayer. May the Lord strengthen your faith, keep you from embarrassment and harm, and lead you to rest in His grace and truth.
