We lift up your wife to the Lord, our Healer and Comforter, trusting in His mercy and grace to sustain her in this difficult season. Mental health struggles can weigh heavily on the heart and mind, but we know that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and we declare His peace over her life, even in the midst of turmoil.
Father, we ask You to surround her with Your love and presence. Calm her anxious thoughts, lift the burdens she carries, and fill her with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Strengthen her mind and spirit, reminding her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and deeply loved by You. Help her to cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). We rebuke any lies of the enemy that seek to steal her joy, peace, or hope, and we declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37).
We also ask that You provide her with godly support—wise counselors, faithful friends, and a community that will walk alongside her with encouragement and prayer. Remind her that she is not alone, for You are with her always (Matthew 28:20). If there are areas in her life where she needs to surrender more fully to You, reveal them gently, Lord, and give her the strength to release them into Your hands.
We pray for wisdom and patience for you as her husband, that you would be a source of love, stability, and hope for her. May you both grow closer to each other and to the Lord through this trial, trusting in His faithfulness. We stand on Your promise that those who seek You lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10) and that Your plans for her are for good and not for harm, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Amen.
