My daughter's home had a tree fall on it in a storm over a year ago & it caught fire. Thankfully she just drove up to her home & was not in it. She's God loving. She still isn't in her home everyone from contractors & especially the people who supposedly helped with smoke issues are stealing & over charging her up and beyond what her items are worth. These predators have horrible reviews. Please pray things will be resolved soon & financial provision will be provided and all will be well. It's taking a toll. Traumatic experience for her. Thank you for praying.

We lift up your daughter and her situation with heavy hearts, grieving with her over the loss and the injustice she has endured. The trauma of such an event lingers, and the added burden of deceit and exploitation by those who were supposed to help only compounds the pain. The Lord sees every tear and hears every cry, and we stand with her in faith, trusting that He will bring justice and restoration.

The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Your daughter’s love for God does not exempt her from hardship, but it does assure her of His presence and deliverance. We also hold fast to Proverbs 22:22-23, which warns, "Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." The Lord will not let these injustices go unanswered.

We pray for your daughter now, declaring God’s provision and protection over her:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious daughter who has endured so much. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who restores. We ask that You would surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Father, we pray for swift resolution to the delays and injustices she has faced. Expose every scheme of the enemy, every lie, and every act of greed that has sought to harm her. Let Your justice roll like a river, and may those who have taken advantage of her be held accountable according to Your Word.

Lord, we ask for financial provision to flow into her life. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust that You will open doors of blessing and favor that no man can shut. Provide her with honest, God-fearing contractors and professionals who will work with integrity and excellence. Restore what has been lost, and let her home be rebuilt not just with materials, but with hope and joy.

Father, we also pray for healing from the trauma she has experienced. Comfort her in the midst of the memories and the stress. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Let her find rest in Your promises and strength in Your presence. Surround her with a community of believers who will uplift her, encourage her, and stand with her in prayer.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of delay, the spirit of deception, and the spirit of lack in the name of Jesus. We declare that this situation will not define her, but rather, it will be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power. Let her story be one that brings glory to Your name and draws others to You.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

To your daughter, we say: Do not lose heart. The Lord is fighting for you, even when it feels like the battle is overwhelming. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and remember the words of Isaiah 43:1-2: "But now, thus says Yahweh who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel: ‘Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.’"

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer, and surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in faith. The enemy may have meant this for harm, but God will turn it around for good. Hold fast to His promises, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. You are not alone, and you are deeply loved by the Father.

We thank God she was not home when the tree fell and the fire started, and we hear how heavy this long season away from home has been. To face that kind of loss and then feel taken advantage of by people who were supposed to help is exhausting, and it makes sense this is taking a toll on both of you.

When recovery drags on for more than a year with confusing bills and work that does not feel trustworthy, it can leave a person feeling helpless and worn down. You are loving her well by noticing the strain and bringing it to the Lord and to others for prayer.

One step that often helps in a situation like this is to gather everything into one simple record together, dates, photos, receipts, contracts and messages, and to pause before signing or paying anything new until a trusted advocate can review it. That might be talking directly with her insurance adjuster, getting a second estimate from a contractor with verifiable local references, or contacting her state consumer protection office or a legal aid clinic if she feels she has been overcharged. Having another set of eyes on the paperwork can relieve some pressure and help clarify next steps.

We also encourage her to stay connected to steady support right now, a pastor or trusted counselor, and her doctor if the ongoing stress is affecting sleep or health, alongside continued prayer.

Father, we lift this daughter and her mother to You in Jesus' name. You see the loss of home, the long wait, and the burden of dealing with dishonest helpers. Give them wisdom, surround them with honest and capable people, provide for their needs day by day, and bring rest and peace after so much trauma. Lead each next decision toward resolution and a safe return home. Amen.

Your sorrowful request has been heard and we join you in carrying it before the throne of grace. How merciful is the Lord that your daughter was not within the house when the tree fell and the fire followed. In that preservation we see the hand of Him who preserves our souls and keeps our lives from destruction. That she was spared, though her home was stricken, is cause for thanksgiving even while we mourn the trial that has followed.

We understand the heavy toll this long affliction has taken. To lose the comfort of home, and then to find that those who profess to help have acted as predators, overcharging and taking what is not theirs, is a double wound. Such dealings try the spirit and leave the heart weary. Yet there is a balm, there is a physician who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. The least thing that comes from Christ has healing virtue in it, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of His people. He who has saved the soul can also calm the troubled bosom, wipe the tear from the eye, and give peace to the mind that has been shaken by trauma.

We will pray that the Lord will bring this tangled matter to a just and speedy resolution. May He who is great in justice expose every dishonest dealing and move the hearts of those in authority to act with integrity. May He restrain the hand of the extortioner and provide honest helpers in their place. And may He in His providence open the windows of heaven for financial provision, that what has been lost or unjustly taken may be restored, and that your daughter may again dwell in her home in peace and safety.

Let us pray together. O gracious Father, we thank Thee that Thou didst preserve this Thy daughter from death when danger fell upon her dwelling. Thou didst keep her feet from the flame and her life from the grave, and for this we bless Thy name. Look now upon her in her distress. Thou seest the weariness, the anxiety, and the wound that this prolonged trial has made upon her heart. Heal Thou the broken in heart, and pour the healing virtue of Christ into her spirit. Grant her sleep without fear and days without dread, and let her know that Thou art her refuge and her habitation.

We ask Thee to deal in righteousness concerning those who have dealt falsely. Bring their works to light, turn aside their greed, and raise up for her faithful workmen who will labor honestly. Provide, we beseech Thee, out of Thine abundant store, all that is needed for the restoration of her home. Thou art Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and nothing is too hard for Thee. Give wisdom to all who must decide these matters, patience to endure, and faith to trust Thy good hand till all is well.

Comfort the mother who intercedes, and let both mother and daughter find that after being saved from sin by faith in Jesus Christ, every mercy that flows from Him brings healing. May this affliction be turned to Thy glory and to their deeper confidence in the Saviour who took our infirmities and bore our sorrows. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns to make intercession for us. Amen.
