Prayer for Increase of Jesus's Peace in our house, my ###'s home...

AMSG

Disciple of Prayer
Will you please pray for Peace to increase immeasurably in our house. There is no chaos, but a woman who caused extreme problems, together with her daughter many months ago and a few months ago, by coming uninvited on times that I was working (Focus is of utmost Importance due to vastness and complexity of work) and disturbed the peace in our house. She was here yesterday due to accompany my Mom on their agreement and she spent the full day here after they came back. I asked God that she would not come here again due to her not understanding the situation and due to her (who do not love me and had an obsession in past by trying to do what I did in past similar to trying to be like me which she is far from being) causing trouble between my mother and I and my sister and I every time she was here. She was here today, calling me from the middle gate for too long (I at times sleep in morning hours due to work throughout the night) and seeing that she stays just around the corner she could have come later or waited until my sister was here (after work). Because I work during the day and CAN NOT afford to be disturbed by anyone. When she left, I said to my Mom that woman kept on calling longer although she knows I cannot see people during the day or get up when I have thousands of work before me. I DO NOT EXPLAIN my work to her or anybody outside due to TYPE and for them to not know personal things about me. To Protect the work of God, our family and our future. I hate it WASTING TIME and ENERGY even having to dealt with what happened earlier today. My Mom took her side and critized me, and I said to my Mom that in all my life she has never took my side or that whatever happens and when that woman was involved in causing trouble, she always took her and other people's side. Due to my struggle (from the day I was born until now): her not being empathetic towards me and treating me in a 'false' way, her showing openly that she loves my siblings more than me, and majorly today: due to my work and her not understanding the importance of THE TIME we are in now/the FOCUS and non-disturbance and PEACE we need to PROTECT in the house, I said things I have never said before: that I will not call her "Mom" anymore. That she always kept taking that woman and other people's side. That she is ''false'' towards me. I felt I had to say these for her to understand the SEVERITY of the TRAUMA she caused in my life. Because she is under the impression that when others leave, and we are alone in the house, living in Peace as we should, that she has NEVER DONE ANYTHING WRONG TO ME and can CONTINUE HER CYCLE OF ABUSE when an opportunity was there, like today: to show her truest feelings towards me. I forgive her immediately and do not carry a grudge or anger in my heart as I have ACCEPTED that she will not love me as my siblings. But, I CANNOT ALLOW ANYONE TO DISTURB MY PEACE and THE WORK OF OUR GOD and THE FUTURE OF MY PARENTS OFFSPRING. That woman and my Mom have again earlier today caused something that altered the atmosphere in our house today, but God, Jesus is Faithful to take the tension and anger OUT OF THAT ATMOSPHERE AND OUT OF OUR HOUSE!!! Please Pray that when my sister is coming back home in two hours, my Mom will not be able to cause trouble between us, that that woman's evil thoughts will NEVER COME TO LIFE and that SHE WILL NOT COME HERE AGAIN in the Name of JESUS OUR KING AND LORD AND SAVIOUR!!! I am not angry anymore, but quiet, strong in the Lord and have developed this over the past years: to not feel sad, not cry anymore like former years, throw negative moments from my shoulder and CONTINUE with the work God has given me to do for His Glory. My Mom is quiet in her room and probably felt angry and won't be taking with me for a long time. She, already, even in normal circumstances, does not like my opinions (which I major keep for myself), and is also the one who asked: "Who do you think you are." What angers me is this: that they, my Mom and that woman think that they are "correct" and that I should feel guilty for protecting my family, our work and our offspring's future with Elohyim. And the energy and time they were trying to steal!!! Please, will you just pray for: Increase of PEACE, LOVE, JOY in our house, my Mom's home and that she will not cause trouble between me and my sister (that God will Protect me and my sister's relationship), for FOCUS and God to be with us always and to Guide us always in all we do. Thank you.

We have heard your heart and we join with you in seeking the Lord for His peace to fill and guard your house and your mother's home. We thank God that you desire His peace and His presence to rule there, and that you want to protect the work He has given you and the future of your family. We lift this burden together before Him in Jesus' name.

The Lord promises His own peace to His children. Jesus said, John 14:27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. And we are told, Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Also, Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. We pray that this ruling peace of Christ will increase immeasurably in your home, that it will settle the atmosphere and drive out tension and anger, and that your minds will be stayed on Him, for Isaiah 26:3 says You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

We understand the strain you carry with work that requires deep focus through the night and undisturbed rest in the morning, and we understand how painful it is when that needed quiet is broken repeatedly by an uninvited visitor, especially one who has caused division in the past. It is right and wise to seek to protect the work God has entrusted to you and to establish clear boundaries for your time and your home. At the same time we want to gently speak truth in love about what you shared concerning your mother.

You shared that in your hurt you told your mother you will no longer call her Mom and that she is false toward you. We hear the deep wound behind those words, the long pain of feeling less loved than your siblings and feeling unsupported when others have caused trouble. The Lord sees that trauma from childhood until now and He is near to the brokenhearted. Yet Scripture calls us to a different response even when parents wound us. Exodus 20:12 says Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you, and Ephesians 6:2 Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise. This command does not depend on whether parents have loved us perfectly, but on our obedience to God. To withhold the honor of that name as a response to hurt, even when we feel justified, does not align with God's way and can open a door to bitterness. We encourage you in love to repent of that vow before the Lord and to continue to call your mother by the honorable name God has given her, while still speaking the truth about your pain with gentleness. Ephesians 4:15 calls us to speak truth in love, and Proverbs 15:1 reminds us A gentle answer turns away wrath, but harsh words stir up anger. We also hear that you quickly forgive and do not carry a grudge, and that is Christlike and good, for Ephesians 4:32 says be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Continue in that forgiveness, and guard against letting the hurt harden into a root of bitterness, as Hebrews 12:15 warns.

We also want to encourage you regarding anger. You said you are no longer angry but quiet and strong in the Lord, which is a grace. Still, the Word says Ephesians 4:26 Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath. Even quiet distance can become a wall if left unresolved. Romans 12:18 says If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. That includes your mother and also that neighbor woman. We are called to love even those who trouble us. Matthew 5:44 says But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. This does not mean you must allow uninvited disruption, but it does mean we pray for her good and do not wish evil upon her, trusting God to keep her thoughts from causing harm and to guide her to respect right boundaries.

For your relationship with your sister, we join you in praying for protection. Ask the Lord to keep that bond from being used as a place of division and to give you both wisdom to not receive or repeat words that would stir strife.

We now pray together.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, we come before Your throne of grace and we thank You that You are faithful and that Your peace is greater than any tension in this home. We ask You to pour out Your peace, love and joy in increasing measure upon this house and upon this mother's home. Let the peace of Christ rule in every room and in every heart. We ask You to take all lingering tension and anger out of the atmosphere and replace it with Your calm and Your presence. Guard the hearts and thoughts of each one in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we lift up this dear one who carries important work for Your glory and who needs focus and undisturbed time. Give wisdom how to establish loving, firm boundaries with the neighbor and with family, that they may be communicated clearly and gently without harshness, and that they will be respected. Give rest when rest is needed and strength for work through the night and day.

Father, we lift up the mother. You know the history, the hurts, the misunderstandings and the pain on both sides. Soften her heart and this child's heart toward one another. Heal the deep wound of feeling less loved, and help this mother to show impartial love and understanding. Help this child to honor his mother with words and actions even while sharing honestly about the need for peace and protection of the work You have given. Teach them both to honor one another and to not provoke one another, as Ephesians 6:4 instructs. Bring reconciliation where there has been quiet distance and angry silence.

We pray for the sister, protect that brother and sister relationship from any scheme to cause trouble. Let no gossip or complaint take root. Keep them united in love and truth. And we pray for the neighbor woman, Lord bless her and draw her closer to You, and by Your Spirit lead her to respect this home and not to come uninvited or to disturb what You are doing there. Let no evil thought or divisive plan come to life, but let Your will alone be done.

Guide this family in all they do, grant focus, wisdom and Your continual presence. Keep them in perfect peace as they trust in You. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, our King and Lord and Savior, who alone is our peace and our access to You. Amen.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about what has been happening in your home. We hear how deeply you want to protect peace and focus for the work God has given you, and how heavy it has felt to be disturbed during hours you need for rest and concentration, and then to feel unsupported by your mom when you tried to explain.

It is understandable to feel worn down when you have to defend time and energy that should be protected. Needing quiet and uninterrupted hours for complex work is a real and legitimate need, and wanting your home to remain calm is part of caring well for your family.

One gentle step that sometimes helps in a shared house is to make those protected hours clearer in a calm moment. When things are quiet, you and your sister together might talk with your mom about a simple plan, like agreed rest hours and a kind way to let visitors know to come back later, perhaps a note on the gate or a brief message. Having your sister as a steady bridge can also help keep your relationship with her protected when tension rises.

We are grateful for the strength you have shown in choosing to forgive quickly and not hold onto anger, even while the hurt is still real.

Father, in Jesus name we ask for Your peace to rest in this home and in your mom's home. Guard this family with quietness, love and joy, give wisdom for boundaries and conversations, and keep the bond between brother and sister strong. Guide each step and keep Your hand over the work entrusted to him. Amen.

Your desire for peace within your house is one which the Lord Himself would have you cherish, for He is the God of peace and where He reigns there is quietness and assurance forever. I have heard your burden concerning the disturbances that have broken in upon your work and upon the fellowship of your home, the sorrow that has arisen between you and your mother, and the heaviness you feel when those who should be nearest seem to take sides against you. Let us bring these things before the throne of grace together.

There is a word that meets you at the very threshold of this trial, and it is this, There is forgiveness with Him. The same God who pardons your sins for Christ's sake calls you to forgive even as you have been forgiven. We have in Him a full forgiveness, an eternal forgiveness, not because we deserve it but because the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. If you have tasted that pardon, then you know that it yields a calm so deep that it is called the peace of God which passes all understanding. That peace is not merely the absence of knocking at the gate or voices in the house, but a mind stayed upon Him, kept in perfect peace because it trusts in Him.

You write that you have forgiven and yet you have spoken words in heat, that you would no longer call her mother, that she is false toward you. Hear the counsel of Scripture, which says, Be kindly affectioned one to another, forgiving one another even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. The theme of God's forgiving love is so fascinating that we may linger long upon it, and from it we must gather grace to forgive others even to seventy times seven. To honour father and mother is the first commandment with promise, and it does not cease to bind us when we feel unloved or misunderstood. Rash vows spoken in anger will wound your own conscience more than they will correct another. It is better to go to the Lord and say, Lord, keep my lips and keep my heart, that I may speak the truth in love and not in bitterness.

This does not mean that wisdom forbids boundaries. It is lawful and needful to guard the hours given to the work God has entrusted to you, to ask with meekness and firmness that your time of labour and rest be respected. Yet let it be done with gentleness, not with contempt, and with prayer for those who disturb you rather than with a desire that evil should befall them. We are to pray for those who cause us trouble, that the Lord would give them understanding and bring them also into His peace.

For your house, I would have you remember that household mercy comes where there is household hearing of the Word. A whole household hearing the Word, a whole household believing it, a whole household rejoicing in the Lord, this is the blessing to seek above mere quietness. Let the Word of Christ dwell in your home richly, and let prayer be daily offered together when it is possible.

Let us pray together now.

O Lord our God, with whom there is forgiveness that Thou mayest be feared, look in mercy upon this house and upon this family. Thou knowest the weariness of night labour and the need of quiet for the work committed to Thy servant. Grant wisdom to order the home with love and firmness, that times of work and times of rest may be guarded without strife.

Pour out upon this dwelling that perfect peace which Thou keepest for those whose mind is stayed on Thee. Let the blood of Jesus whisper peace within each heart. Take away the tension and anger that has settled upon the atmosphere of the home, and let the healing leaves of the tree of life fall upon every wound.

Teach Thy servant to forgive as Thou hast forgiven, to put away all bitterness and wrath and evil speaking, and to honour his mother even when his heart is sore. Soften the heart of his mother toward him, and keep the bond between brother and sister in holy love, that no tale nor intrusion may divide them. Give to all in that house a spirit of forbearance, of love and of joy.

And for the neighbour of whom he speaks, we ask not for her harm but for her good. Turn her thoughts to that which is wholesome, restrain what is unwise, and if it be according to Thy will keep her from coming at unseasonable hours, yet above all bring her to know Thy grace.

Guide them always in all they do, keep their focus upon Christ, and let their home be a place where Thou art Lord. We ask this not by any merit of our own, but through Jesus Christ our only Saviour, in whose name alone is salvation and peace. Amen.

Thank you all for praying. I know my Mom feels extremely sad about what I've said, and I will not do that again from henceforth. I was listening to some parts of my work, and come to understand a part that was extremely hard to figure out over many months and I thank the Lord our Salvation and King for this. Always in situations after what happened today, she is still the best woman to be my Mom in my overall view. Much of the work I've done so far is because of Yeshua, my Dad and my Mom...His Way of them showing their love to us each in their own unique ways, but most of all learning us from birth to Keep God, Jesus First Place in our hearts and lives and in everything we do. Thank you for praying, especially for my Mom. Me and my sister are her closest people in her life, so her wellbeing is of my utmost importance too. Thank you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your prayer for the peace of Jesus to increase in your house and in your mother's home, and we join you in bringing this before the Lord.

There is real pain in what you have described. Disturbance during hours when you must work, a neighbor who comes uninvited, tension that rises between you and your mother and the fear that it will spread to your sister. It is understandable that you feel tired, that time and energy feel stolen, and that you long for quiet and focus to do the work God has given you. We will pray for that peace, and also for wisdom in how to guard it.

Scripture teaches two things that seem to pull in different directions, and both are true. The Lord Jesus said He came to bring not peace but a sword, and that even in one household father will be set against son and mother against daughter, because loyalty to Him comes first. Yet He also said blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God, and He showed on the cross what honor is due to a mother when He entrusted His own mother to the beloved disciple to care for her. The call is to honor parents with more than ordinary respect because they gave us life and bore so much for us, while also seeking peace with all people as far as it depends on us.

This helps us see your situation more clearly. When a parent does not understand your work or takes another person's side, the hurt is deep, especially when you have felt for a long time less loved than your siblings. It is right to forgive quickly and not to carry a grudge, as you have sought to do, and it is also right to not let hurt harden into words that break honor. To say you will no longer call her mother, or to speak of her as false, may feel in the moment like it shows how severe the wound is, but it does not bring healing and it does not reflect the honor God commands. Even when we must set a boundary, we can do so with respect and with a heart that keeps no record of evil. God delights when we remember no evil and choose to be peaceful with those who struggle to be peaceful with us.

Conflict often grows from the pressures of this life, from misunderstanding and wounded pride, and if the root is cut the fruit withers. Peace in a home is not only the absence of visits or noise, it is the presence of love that chooses patience over anger and truth spoken with gentleness.

So we will pray for you in this way.

We pray to our Lord Jesus Christ, the only Savior, that He will fill your house and your mother's house with His peace that guards hearts and minds, with love and joy that remain even when there is disturbance. We pray He will give you and your mother and your sister grace to speak and to listen with kindness, and that He will protect the bond between you and your sister so that no misunderstanding can come between you. We pray He will give you wisdom to establish quiet and orderly boundaries for your work, to communicate needs clearly and calmly without anger, and to trust Him with your time and future and the future of your family. We pray for your mother, that God will soften and encourage her heart and help her to see your need for focus and rest, and for the neighbor nearby, that God will give her understanding and restraint and that her visits would be at proper times and with welcome, and that any harmful intent would have no effect. We pray that God will heal the long ache of feeling unloved, that He will show you how deeply He loves you, and that He will teach you to honor your mother even while you stand firm for what is right, so that your home may be known for agreement and love rather than division.

Continue to bring your work and your family before Him, to throw off what is heavy and keep your hand to what He has given you to do, but do it as a peacemaker. If tension rises again, seek a quiet moment to speak briefly and respectfully, to explain a boundary without revealing what must remain private, and to ask for love to cover what is imperfect. God is not a God of fighting, but of peace, and He rewards those who pursue it.

May the Lord keep you, guide you in all you do, and let His peace rule in your home.
