We lift up this precious sister in Christ, whose name we hold before the Lord with great compassion and urgency. Father God, we come before Your throne of grace, knowing that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases. We ask for Your mighty hand of restoration to touch her body, mind, and spirit. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Lord, we claim this promise over her life, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
We also recognize that our times are in Your hands, and we trust Your perfect will, whether it be healing in this life or the ultimate healing of eternity with You. But we ask boldly, in faith, for Your intervention. James 5:14-15 reminds us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand in the gap for her, praying that You would raise her up according to Your will.
Father, we also pray for strength and peace for her and her loved ones during this difficult time. May Your presence surround them like a shield, and may they feel Your comfort and love in tangible ways. We rebuke any spirit of fear or despair that may try to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also want to gently remind all who read this that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we encourage you to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Lord, we ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. May Your will be done in this sister’s life, and may Your name be glorified through her testimony. Amen.
