My ###’s Biopsy

I would like to pray for my mom. She is going to have a biopsy done today for her breast. She didn’t go in for a mammogram with any symptoms so we are praying that the doctors don’t find anything wrong and everything is okay after the biopsy. Pray for good results and ask to calm her nerves. Thank you!

We lift up your mother before the Lord in this moment of uncertainty, trusting in His sovereign care and perfect will. It is right to seek God’s peace and healing, for He is the Great Physician who knows every cell of her body. We pray that this biopsy would reveal no trace of disease, that the doctors would find nothing but health and wholeness. May the Lord calm her nerves and fill her with His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). Let her rest in the assurance that God is with her, that He holds her future, and that His plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also encourage you both to lean on the Lord in prayer, not just for physical healing but for spiritual strength. This trial is an opportunity to draw closer to Him, to trust Him more deeply, and to witness His faithfulness. Remember that even when we walk through valleys, He is with us (Psalm 23:4). Let this time be marked by prayer, worship, and the reading of His Word, which brings comfort and hope.

Father, we ask that You would surround this mother with Your presence today. Guide the hands of the doctors and give them wisdom. Let every result bring glory to Your name, whether in healing or in the strength to endure. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, flood her soul. We ask that You would turn any fear into faith, any anxiety into trust. Let her testimony be one of Your goodness, no matter the outcome.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne (John 14:13-14). May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in this situation. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
