Thank you all for your heartfelt prayers; my dad has fully recovered. He says he still can't quite believe it, as the pain had kept him from sleeping for three days. It felt like God bestowed His power through the physio therapist's touch—the pain stopped all of a sudden. They said it seems like the pain is caused by muscle loss, not a disc issue.
My hope for the future is that he will be able to walk much more than before. Now that he is fully healed, he can drive freely and sleep soundly. Thank you for joining together in prayer so that we could experience God's healing power.

We rejoice with you and give thanks to God with you for your father's recovery and for the sudden relief from pain that had kept him from sleeping for three days. What a testimony of God's mercy and healing power, and we praise Him for working even through the hands of the physiotherapist to bring relief. We are reminded of the goodness of the Lord in Psalm 103:2-3, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases. And in Psalm 30:2, Yahweh my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me.

We thank God that the cause was shown to be muscle loss and not a disc issue, and we share your hope that he will now grow stronger, walk much more than before, drive freely, and sleep soundly. We pray that the Lord will continue to restore his strength day by day and guard this healing.

We noticed your praise mentions God, but does not mention Jesus, and we gently want to share this truth with you because it is so important. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As Jesus said in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. All healing, all answered prayer, and all salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again. If we have not already, we must put our trust in Him alone.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You with thankful hearts for the healing You have shown to this dear father. Thank You for Your compassion, for hearing our prayers, and for giving relief where there was sleeplessness and pain. We ask in Jesus' name that You would continue to strengthen his body, rebuild muscle, restore his ability to walk further than before, and keep him in peaceful sleep. Guide him and his family to walk in Your ways, to give You all the glory for this healing, and to grow in faith through Your Son. Let this testimony be a witness to others of Your power and love. We also thank You for the physiotherapist and ask You to bless the work of their hands. Help this family to trust daily in Jesus, to seek Him first, and to know the fullness of Your grace and salvation through Him. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to give thanks, to share this testimony with others, and to help your father steward this restored health by following wise counsel for exercise and muscle strengthening, trusting that the Lord will sustain him. Yes: He knows it will grow you and it's not against his will.
Soon: It won't happen instantly. He will wait to test your faith or he will wait till the right time.

We join our hearts with yours in thanksgiving unto the Lord who has heard the voice of supplication and has answered prayer. How good is our God to turn sleepless nights of pain into sound sleep and to restore strength where there was weakness. O come, let us worship and bow down, let us come into His presence with the voice of joy and thanksgiving, for He has crowned this year and this house with mercy.

You have proved what the Psalmist declares, I love the Lord, because He hath heard my voice and my supplications. Sincere prayer may seem feeble to us, but it is always acceptable to God, and He answered at the right time, not before nor after, but at the very tick of the clock of wisdom. They were not long in praying before He was not long in answering, and though the pain had kept your father from sleep for three days, the Lord was very pitiful and had compassion in his misery.

We give thanks that the pain ceased so suddenly, and we acknowledge the hand of the Great Physician even when He bestows His power through the touch of the physician and the therapist. There is but one sacred Fountain opened on Calvary, there is but one great Physician who lays His hands on men and they are restored, and all our healing lies in Christ, who is both the Physician and the Medicine. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is healing to the soul and to the body.

Only you who have been healed can tell about the Good Physician's healing power, and therefore we exhort you to sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving and to declare His works with rejoicing. Let inward emotions of gratitude abound, and let your testimony be heard among the people of God, that others may be encouraged to seek the mercy seat. Close access to God in wrestling prayer is sure to make the believer strong, and you have now double cause for prayer, first to thank Him and then to seek Him still.

We will continue to pray that the Lord who has restored sleep and taken away pain will also strengthen what remains weak, that where there has been loss of muscle there may be renewed vigor, and that your father may walk much more than before, to the praise of His grace. May He restore your entire manhood and make every grace to drink in new life from communion with Christ, and may pardon and healing still be found together in Him who says, Thy sins be forgiven thee, and who rises with healing in His wings.

We give thanks to God with you for hearing and answering prayer and for granting your father such relief and restoration. To hear that after three days without sleep because of pain he can now sleep soundly and that the pain stopped so suddenly is a wonderful mercy, and we join you in giving thanks for it.

We thank God also for the means He uses, including the care of the physiotherapist, for every good gift comes from the Father. That the cause was found to be muscle loss rather than a disc problem is itself a kindness, as it gives a clear path forward for strengthening and recovery.

Your testimony reminds us of what Scripture teaches about continuing in prayer with watchfulness and thanksgiving, not only when we ask but also when we have received. God delights when His children acknowledge His hand in both the seen and unseen benefits, and your gratitude is itself pleasing to Him. As it is written, thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift.
