PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We join with you in Jesus' name and we thank you for calling upon Jesus and upon His name only, for we know there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and by which we have access to the Father. It is good that you have come to Him, for He alone can do what no man can do.

We hear your heart, that you have an unspoken request that weighs heavily on you and that you long to believe by faith that it is already answered. We stand with you in that faith, and we remember the words of our Lord when He said, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. Mark 11:24. We also remember that your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Matthew 6:8 and that the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered when we do not know how to pray as we ought. Romans 8:26. Be assured that God knows this unspoken prayer perfectly, every detail, and nothing is hidden from Him. He who sees in secret will reward openly.

We also hear your pain regarding those who have mocked or belittled your prayer, even comparing your situation to Moses opening the Red Sea in a scoffing way. We understand how discouraging it is when a sincere cry to the Lord is met with insult. Yet we take comfort that nothing is impossible with God. Luke 1:37. What man mocks as impossible, God has done and still does, for with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26. Do not let the scoffing of others cause your faith to waver, for the Lord hears the afflicted and He is near to those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18.

We gently encourage you not to hold bitterness toward those you perceive as malicious elements. Even if their words had some validity mixed with mockery, we are called to guard our own hearts. We are told, Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. Romans 12:17-19. Let us release any desire to judge their motives for self-praise, and leave that judgment to the Lord who searches hearts. Instead, we pray for them as Christ taught us to pray for those who despitefully use us, that they also might be drawn to humility and truth.

We also encourage you to hold your faith with submission to God's perfect will and timing. We can boldly believe, and we also trust that this is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14. To believe you have received is not presumption, but trust that God in His mercy and sovereignty will answer according to what is best for you, in His time.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty and only name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. Lord, have mercy upon this dear one who cries out to You. You know the unspoken request that has been lifted before, every detail, every burden, every hope. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and show Your power and mercy in this situation. Grant increased faith to believe without wavering, and grant peace that surpasses all understanding to guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. Lord, heal any wound caused by mockery and insult, and help this dear one to forgive as You have forgiven us. Let no root of bitterness grow, but let trust in You grow stronger. We ask that You would silence the voice of the scoffer and let Your still small voice be heard, reminding this child of Yours that You are faithful and that You hear. We ask that You would be glorified in the answer, whether through a Red Sea parting miracle or through quiet providence, and that faith would be strengthened to wait upon You. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring this unspoken request before the Lord daily, with thanksgiving, and to rest in His love. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6. Keep trusting, keep praying in Jesus' name, and know that we are standing with you.

We heard the ache in your note, and how painful it was to have a sincere prayer mocked and compared to something else to make you feel small. It makes sense you would want to pull that prayer close and keep it between you and Jesus for now.

We want you to know God does hear the unspoken prayers. You don't have to find perfect words or convince anyone else of its worth for Him to know exactly what is on your heart. Faith at its core is quiet confidence in who Jesus is, even when emotions are raw and other voices are unkind.

One thing that may help in the days ahead is to keep a simple, private rhythm with the Lord about this burden, rather than carrying it alone in your thoughts. When the sting of those comments comes back, gently turn again to Jesus in that moment and rest there. If and when you feel safe, it can also help to share the unspoken request with one trusted pastor or mature believer who will simply pray with you without trying to explain or fix it.

Jesus, we bring this dear heart before You now. Have mercy and draw near with Your peace. Guard this prayer You already know fully, quiet the hurt from unkind words, and help our friend to rest in Your goodness and trust Your will. Give wisdom, comfort, and steady hope as they wait on You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for mercy has been heard, and the Lord who searches the heart knows well what words cannot now express. When malicious lips mock and make sport of prayer, even daring to jest at the parting of the Red Sea, you are not the first to suffer so. We ought distinctly to declare that we believe in God, and yet prudence will at times keep our deepest petition unspoken before men while it is fully spoken before Him. Those who sneer and ridicule at divine things would say, what has he to do with trusting God, he is conceited and fanatical, but their scorn does not make faith void.

Remember that the God who divided the Red Sea is our God forever and ever, and is at this hour as mighty as when He overthrew the horse and his rider in the mighty waters. If He could make a way through the sea for Moses, He can make a way for you where there seems to be no way. Yet our faith is not tied to time. They that mocked said, He trusted on the Lord that He would deliver Him, as much as to say, if God does not deliver Him now His trust was folly. Do not so bind the Lord. Faith rests upon the Lord's faithful Word and promise, come what may, and waits for His hour.

You say, I must believe my prayer has already been answered. In one blessed sense this is true, for in giving us Christ He has already given us all things, and whatever you may rightly ask of God you really have in Him. David prayed, Save with Your right hand and answer me, and while he was waiting for God to answer him he remembered that God has already spoken. So you may take comfort that God has spoken already in His Word. But take heed that we do not pray ignorantly. We must pray with the understanding and with the spirit, so that we may clearly know what we are praying about. Get the promise and then offer the prayer, and the prayer will be answered as sure as God is God. Search yourself and breathe the prayer, Search me, O God, and try me, and know my ways, and see if there is any evil way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Bring your unspoken request into the light of that Word, and ask whether it is a thing that ought to be answered, a thing agreeable to His will, to holiness, to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, to that lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman wherein alone our Lord has placed the gift of nearness of life and body. God will not bless what His Word calls sin, but He will bless the heart that turns from sin to Christ.

Do not think your prayer is lost because it was offered in weakness or because it must now be unspoken before men. God has heard those cold prayers and has answered them too, though we have wept over them afterward. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and His ears are open unto their cry. He is all eyes and all ears for His people. He heard the first prayer you ever prayed, when you asked that God would have mercy upon you and blot out your sin, and He hears this one.

Without faith it is impossible to please God, for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. That faith must come to Him as He has revealed the way of approach, through the blood of Jesus Christ alone. If you have that faith, though it be little faith, it saves, for the least faith in Jesus is the gift of God and is like precious faith. And He gives more grace, so that little faith may grow to strong faith which wrestles with God in prayer and then finds it can overcome earth and death and hell.

Therefore do not cease from trust nor from prayer because of mockers. When the scoffer says there is no God and that prayer is useless, you may yet whisper in his ear, I sought the Lord and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears. Let your cry grow more and more vehement, yet with humble submission to His sovereign purposes and wisdom, which no tongue can fully tell. If the answer tarries, still cry both in the daytime and at night, for the Lord will still hear your prayer. The ears of true faith are quick and keen, and she hears the coming of the blessing even before it is seen.

Tell the Lord all, even what you dare not tell men. Become practically acquainted with His mercy. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Trust in God and then you shall not be afraid, for faith saves from the fear of temporal trouble and from every other fear. May He who alone can do this work show you everything needful, conform your heart to His Word, and perfect that which concerns you, for all His people are in the hands of Jesus and in those hands they shall be forever.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
