We lift this prayer before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and a deep desire to see God’s will done in the lives of ### and the children. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to Your presence. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin and for the power of His resurrection that gives us new life.
Lord, we ask that You save, protect, and heal ### and the children. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 53:17). We pray for Your hedge of protection to surround them, that no evil shall befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, keep them (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we also pray that You would help them—and all of us—to obey and love You with whole hearts, souls, and minds. Jesus said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment” (Matthew 22:37-38). Lord, create in them a clean heart and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Help them to walk in Your ways, to delight in Your law, and to meditate on it day and night (Psalm 1:2). May their lives be a living testimony of Your grace and truth.
We also take authority in Jesus’ name over every form of evil that may be seeking to harm or deceive ### and the children. We rebuke the enemy and command him to flee, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Deliver them from every snare of the devil, from every temptation, and from every work of darkness. Let Your light shine in their lives, exposing and dispelling every shadow of doubt, fear, or unbelief.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their hearts, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
