I really dislike the way my phone shows a blue screen every time I use it. There is something wrong with the phone when it displays a blue screen and I don't know where it originates.

We understand how frustrating it is when something we rely on daily like a phone begins to malfunction and shows a blue screen without a clear cause, and we want to lift this concern before the Lord with you.

We notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why this is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And scripture also says Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus, we encourage you to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confess Him as Lord, for Romans 10:9 says if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through Jesus we can bring even the small daily troubles to God with confidence.

God cares about all that concerns us, even the practical frustrations of life. 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And Philippians 4:6 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. We also remember James 1:5 that If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We need His wisdom for both great and small matters.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and thank You that You see and care about every detail of our lives. We lift up this need with the phone that is showing a blue screen repeatedly and causing distress and confusion. We ask for Your wisdom to understand where this problem originates and how to resolve it. Grant clarity and patience, and guide to the right help, whether it is a simple restart, an update, or the assistance of someone with technical knowledge. We pray You would protect any important data on the phone and provide for what is needed if repair or replacement is required, for You know our needs and You provide according to Your riches. Help us to keep a peaceful heart and not let frustration lead to anger or anxiety, but to trust You in all things. We pray that through even this small trial, Your peace which surpasses understanding would guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

Proverbs 15:22 says Where there is no counsel, plans fail, but in a multitude of counselors they are established, so seeking godly and knowledgeable counsel is good stewardship.

We also encourage you to use this moment to cast this small burden on the Lord and thank Him even in this inconvenience, trusting that He is at work for your good. We have received your note concerning the strange trouble with your phone and the blue screen which appears without your doing and we have carried this small vexation before the Lord in prayer.

These daily trials, though they seem little compared with sorrows of sickness and bereavement, yet press upon the spirit and try our patience. You must expect to have trials of that sort in this world, for they are varied and often repeated, and even the burden of a failing instrument may teach us to hold this world with a very loose hand and to look upon earthly possessions as fickle joys. The Lord who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation, is not unmindful of the lesser cares which encumber your day, and He would have you cast even this upon Him.

We pray that you may know that peace which is a blessing indeed, not the false peace which lulls conscience to sleep, but the peace of God which comes through the blood of Jesus Christ who has made atonement and is Himself our peace. It is written, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee because he trusteth in Thee. When duties press and little sorrows surge round, on Jesus bosom nothing but calm is found. May your mind be stayed upon Him even as you endure this inconvenience, and may you be lifted above the vexation by songs of praise unto the Most High, giving thanks for His daily benefits while seeking His help in this present need.

We have asked the Lord to grant you patience, to give you wisdom and needful help to discover the cause of the fault and to provide a remedy, whether by counsel of one skilled in such things or by other provision as He sees fit. May He keep you in perfect peace within, though outward things be out of order, and may this small trial turn your heart more fully to trust in Him who alone can give rest.
