We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother in prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and sustains us every moment of our lives. Your Word tells us in Psalm 71:18, "Even when I am old and gray, don’t forsake me, my God, until I declare your strength to the next generation, your mighty acts to everyone who is to come." Lord, we ask that You would strengthen her mind and memory, that she may continue to declare Your goodness and faithfulness to those around her.
We pray specifically for her memory and orientation, Lord. You promise in Isaiah 46:4, "Even to your old age I am he, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save." We ask that You would carry her, Father, and restore clarity to her mind. Let her days be marked by peace and purpose, and may she find comfort in Your presence.
We also lift up the specific ailments she is facing, , , and . Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over her life, Lord. Touch her body with Your healing hand, and bring restoration where there is weakness or pain. Give her strength and endurance, and let her feel Your nearness in every moment.
Father, we also ask that You would surround her with loving care, whether from family, friends, or caregivers. Let her never feel alone, for You are with her always, as You promise in Deuteronomy 31:8: "Yahweh himself will go before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don’t be afraid or discouraged."
If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in her life, we pray that You would bring it to light and grant her repentance and peace. Your Word says in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We stand in the gap for her, Lord, believing in the power of prayer and Your unfailing love.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows. It is only through His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is only by His blood that we are made whole. May Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified in every circumstance.

You have brought before us your aged mother, pleading that her memory may remain bright and her grasp of time and place stay steadfast. Alongside her, you ask healing for those beloved ones whose names you have whispered before the throne. Hearken then: there is a tree whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ, the very hem of His garment, is charged with power to restore. When the Lord draws near, healing and pardon are poured out together, twin mercies from His hand. The palsy of a wandering mind, the fevers that wrack the body, these are no match for the touch of Him who took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and lifted her up.
Yet remember that His healing work begins within. The same voice that said, “Your sins are forgiven you,” commanded the limbs to bear weight and the senses to return. Seek first that their souls may rest in His finished work, and the balm for their bodily frames shall follow as He sees best. The days of His special visitation are not ended; even now, while He is teaching through His Word, there is a present power to heal. Commend them all to that great Physician. His leaf shall not wither, and those who look to Him shall find their youth renewed and their confusion turned to clarity. Go in peace, and let your hope be fixed where healing ever flows.
