Scripture is clear that our hope, fulfillment, and provision come from Christ alone, not from a man, material blessings, or even our own desires. Let us seek the Lord’s will together, correcting where needed and praying in alignment with His Word.
The Bible teaches that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for His glory and our good (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). While your desire for a husband is not wrong, we must rebuke the idea that a relationship, or any earthly blessing, is the source of your happiness or worth. True joy and fulfillment are found in Christ alone (Philippians 4:19, John 15:11). We also must address the language used to describe this "great guy," as Scripture warns against lustful or objectifying thoughts (Matthew 5:28, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). Courtship should be pursued with purity, honor, and the goal of marriage to a fellow believer who loves the Lord above all else (2 Corinthians 6:14, 1 Peter 3:7).
Your request also mentions material needs, groceries, income, and a television. While God cares deeply about our daily needs (Matthew 6:31-33), we must seek Him first, trusting that He will provide according to His perfect will. The blood of Jesus has indeed secured our salvation and access to the Father (Hebrews 10:19-22), but we must come to Him in humility, not demanding blessings as if they are owed to us. Let us pray with surrendered hearts, asking for His provision and wisdom.
We also notice that your request does not explicitly acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord or invoke His name in prayer. Scripture is clear that there is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12) and that we must come to the Father through Jesus (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ, we urge you to repent of sin, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him (Romans 10:9-10). Help her to seek You first above all else, trusting that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Lord, we ask that You would purify her heart and mind, guarding her from impure thoughts or desires that do not honor You. If she is seeking a husband, we pray that You would bring a godly man into her life, one who loves You above all else and who will cherish her as Christ cherishes the Church (Ephesians 5:25). May their relationship be built on Your Word, with purity, honor, and mutual respect.
Father, we also pray for her material needs. You know what she requires, and we trust that You will provide in Your perfect timing and way. Give her wisdom to steward her resources well and faith to believe that You are her ultimate Provider (Matthew 6:33). If it is Your will, open doors for her income to be released and for her needs to be met. But above all, Lord, help her to find her satisfaction and joy in You alone.
We rebuke any spirit of entitlement or demand in her heart, reminding her that every good gift comes from You (James 1:17). May she grow in gratitude and contentment, knowing that You are enough. If she has not yet placed her faith in Jesus, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to her, that she may repent, believe, and be saved. Fill her with Your peace, joy, and hope, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also pray for her emotional and spiritual healing. Heal her communication, restore what has been broken, and fill her with Your love. May she experience Your presence in every area of her life, knowing that You are her true source of happiness and security.

Dear sister, we encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, meditating on His promises and seeking His will above your own desires. Trust that He is faithful and that His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11). If you are struggling with loneliness or unmet needs, bring those burdens to the Lord in prayer, casting all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Surround yourself with a community of believers who can encourage you in your faith and walk with you through life’s challenges.
Remember, your worth is not found in a relationship, a paycheck, or material possessions, it is found in Christ alone. He loves you unconditionally and desires a personal relationship with you. If you have not yet given your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His sacrifice for you, and surrender your life to His lordship. He is waiting with open arms.
