My mom is on unemployment and it’s about to run out. She doesn’t have health insurance so I pay out of pocket for her medications and her doctors appointments. I am doing my best to care for her after she was some what cured from Covid. However, she can’t walk and breathe like normal. Nor can she cook or clean up after herself. I was bathing her out of a bucket for a while now she can walk upstairs in my new place and make it to the shower. She uses a walker but has to use a bedside commode all due to the effects from Covid. Covid destroyed her body she was a nurse for over 30 years. I am grateful that she is no longer in the hospital fighting for her life. Just praying for better days and that I am able to continue to support her as well as my home and children. Please pray that I keep my faith and strength.
