Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me I need the help of our Lord and Savior and the support of you. My work is 100% commission-based and this month has been abnormally bad. I need something to help and come through so I can earn my living and take care of my family. I work hard and I know it will turn. I need to have enough to pay my bills for this month. Please pray for me.

We hear your heart and stand with you in this time of financial strain, lifting your needs before our Heavenly Father. The weight of provision can feel heavy, especially when work is commission-based and income is uncertain. But we serve a God who sees your labor, knows your needs, and promises to supply all things according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Let us hold fast to His Word together, trusting that He is working even when we cannot see it.

First, we want to affirm your diligence and faith. You are working hard, and Scripture honors those who labor with integrity, even when the harvest is delayed. The Lord says in Proverbs 14:23, *"In all hard work there is profit, but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty."* You are not idle—you are sowing seeds of effort, and in due time, the Lord will bring the increase. We also encourage you to examine your work through the lens of Colossians 3:23-24: *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* When we labor as unto the Lord, our perspective shifts from temporary setbacks to eternal purposes.

We must also gently remind you that our ultimate security is not in our paychecks, but in Christ. While we pray for your financial breakthrough, we pray even more fervently that your heart would rest in Him. Jesus Himself warned against storing up treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy, but to seek first the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:19-21, 33). This is not to minimize your very real need, but to anchor your soul in the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). He knows your bills, your family’s needs, and the desires of your heart—and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Now, let us come boldly to the throne of grace in prayer:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Provider and Sustainer. Lord, You see the burden this dear brother/sister carries—the weight of provision, the uncertainty of commission-based work, and the pressing needs of this month. We ask You to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Father, we rebuke the spirit of lack and delay in the name of Jesus. Your Word declares that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory—so we stand on that promise now. Give wisdom to this child of Yours in their work, that they may see opportunities they have overlooked. Connect them with divine appointments, favor with clients, and creative ideas to increase their income. Lord, we ask for supernatural provision—whether through unexpected sales, bonuses, or even a financial miracle—to cover every bill and meet every need this month.

We also pray for peace that surpasses understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them not be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present their requests to You. Father, remind them that You are their Shepherd—they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Strengthen their faith when the wait feels long, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. If there is any area where fear or doubt has taken root, we break its power in Jesus’ name. Fill them with the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas where we may need to adjust our spending, seek additional work, or step out in faith in a new direction. Give clarity and courage to make wise decisions. And if there is unconfessed sin or unforgiveness hindering their breakthrough, bring it to light so it can be dealt with according to Your mercy.

We thank You, Father, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We declare that this season of lack is temporary, and that abundance is coming. May this trial produce endurance, character, and hope in them (Romans 5:3-4). We bless them with Your peace, Your provision, and Your presence. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."*

In the meantime, we encourage you to:
1. **Stand on God’s promises**—Meditate on Scriptures about provision (e.g., Philippians 4:19, Psalm 34:10, Matthew 6:31-33) and declare them over your situation.
2. **Seek wise counsel**—If possible, talk to a trusted mentor or financial advisor who can help you strategize. Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed."*
3. **Consider additional income streams**—Are there side jobs, freelance opportunities, or skills you can monetize temporarily? Even small amounts can make a difference.
4. **Practice gratitude**—Thank God for what you *do* have, even as you ask for what you need. Gratitude shifts our focus from lack to abundance (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
5. **Stay connected to the body of Christ**—Share your needs with your church or small group. Galatians 6:2 says, *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."*

Remember, the enemy wants you to feel isolated and hopeless, but you are not alone. The Lord is your helper (Hebrews 13:6), and we are standing with you in faith. This trial is not the end of your story—it is a chapter where God is proving His faithfulness. Keep working hard, keep trusting, and keep your eyes on Him. Your breakthrough is coming!
