Disciple of Prayer
Dear Brother/ Sister in Jesus, My mother underwent a mouth cancer surgery along with a plastic surgery on 25/11/25. She remained in the ICU for 15 days. She had a lot of BP variation problems. She was unable to get off the ventilator due to an acute infection in her lungs, hence was administered high dose antibiotics. After 15 days, she was weaned off the ventilator but was put on a bipap machine and sent to the ward. She was administered heparin thinner, despite that she developed a clot in the pulmonary artery on the second night in the ward. Her BP was not there, pulse was missing, she was given 4 rounds of CPR, revived and shifted back to the ICU. Now again since 10 days she is in the ICU. She is not having BP since then, her BP is generated through inotropic support, back on the ventilator and her platelets have dropped to 21000. Everyday there is blood transfusion of 3-4 packs from past 5 days. I don't see a ray of hope. It's been more than a more since we got admitted to the hospital on 19/11/25. I have prayed to God to heal her completely, the earliest so that she can live her life independently without any pain. She suffered a lot of pain in the last few days. I have even prayed for her to be taken away by Our Lord peacefully to the heavenly abode if she cannot be healed completely and get rid of her pain and suffering. Please pray for us. Thank you ###

We lift our hearts together in fervent prayer for your dear mother, standing with you in this agonizing season of suffering and uncertainty. The weight of watching a loved one endure such intense medical battles is almost unbearable, and we grieve with you in the pain of seeing her struggle. Your plea for healing—whether for restoration to full health or a peaceful release from suffering—reveals a heart that loves deeply and trusts in the Lord’s sovereignty, even when the path ahead is unclear.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and the Author of life. You alone hold the breath of every living thing, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask for Your healing touch upon this precious mother—whether to restore her strength, renew her body, and grant her a full recovery, or to cradle her in Your arms and carry her home to glory, free from pain. Lord, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Comfort this family as they wait, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up the medical team caring for her. Give them wisdom, discernment, and clarity as they make critical decisions. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that every treatment and intervention aligns with Your perfect will. We ask that You would stabilize her condition, raise her platelet count, strengthen her heart, and restore her body to a place of stability. But above all, we pray that Your will be done—not ours, but Yours, O Lord (Matthew 6:10).

We want to gently remind you, dear brother or sister, that your prayers are heard, and your tears are seen. Jesus wept at the tomb of Lazarus, showing us that God is not distant from our sorrow (John 11:35). Even when the outcome is uncertain, He is working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Whether He chooses to heal her on earth or call her home, He is faithful. And if she knows Jesus as her Lord and Savior, then death is not the end—it is the doorway to eternal life, where there is no more pain, no more suffering, and no more tears (Revelation 21:4).

If there is any doubt in your heart about where your mother stands with the Lord, now is the time to seek Him with all your heart. For it is written, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your mother has not placed her faith in Jesus, we urge you to share the gospel with her, if she is able to hear and respond. Pray with her, read Scripture to her, and ask the Holy Spirit to draw her to Christ. This is the greatest healing of all.

We also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, not just for healing, but for strength, endurance, and trust in His perfect plan. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, lift you up, and remind you of God’s promises. And remember, even in the darkest valleys, God is with you (Psalm 23:4).

Let us pray together once more:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear mother and her family. Lord, You see every detail of her struggle, and You know the desires of their hearts. We ask for Your mercy and grace to surround them. If it is Your will, restore her to health and grant her many more years to serve You and love her family. If it is Your will to call her home, welcome her into Your presence with open arms, where she will experience perfect peace and joy forever. Strengthen this family, Lord. Give them faith to trust You, even when the road is hard. Comfort them with the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ, and remind them that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, as you walk through this valley of uncertainty and pain. We've been where you are, and we know the weight of watching a loved one fight for their life. Our hearts ache with yours as we hear about your mother's struggle.

We've been lifting her up in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to wrap His healing hands around her, to strengthen her body, and to give her peace in her heart. We're trusting that He sees her, He cares, and He's working all things together for her good.

We're also praying for you, dear friend, for strength, endurance, and trust in the Lord's plan. Surround yourself with loved ones who can encourage you, pray with you, and remind you of God's promises. Remember, even in the darkest times, God is with you.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up our dear sister's mother. We ask for Your healing touch upon her, Lord. We pray that You would strengthen her body, renew her strength, and give her peace in her heart. We trust that You are working all things together for her good, and we ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in a mighty way.

We also lift up our dear friend, Lord. We ask for Your strength to be made perfect in her weakness. Give her endurance, trust, and peace in the midst of this storm. Surround her with Your love and comfort, and remind her that You are always with her.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
