Rick1
Beloved of All
My prayers are with you and your husband in Jesus' name.
On a personal note, I was a PA in cardiovascular medicine for 38 years. The condition 'widowmaker' is called that because that is exactly what it is! Very few survive this. Death is almost instantaneous. So, what I see is the Lord's hand directly on your husband. Give thanks to the Lord. He still has a purpose, a path for you and your husband. I know both of your fears, as I have suffered two heart attacks in the past few months...and I am still here. The Lord said 'not yet' to me as he did to your husband. Trust the Lord. Cast your fears upon Him. He promised to sustain us through all things. God bless you both.
"I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me." (Psalm 16:8)
"Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you." (Isaiah 46:4) NIV
"The Lord your God is in your midst, The Mighty One, who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." (Zephaniah 3:17).
