We join you in lifting up your husband before the Lord and we thank you for honoring your marriage as God intended for a husband and wife to be one flesh and to care for one another in sickness and in health.
We are moved with compassion for you both and we bring his need for healing to our great Physician, for He is Yahweh who heals you as it says in Exodus 15:26 and who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases as it says in Psalm 103:2-3. We cling to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 that says But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and to the comfort of Isaiah 41:10 where we are told Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We also remember James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear husband to You and ask for Your healing hand to rest upon him. Touch his body, ease his suffering, restore his strength and health according to Your perfect will. Give wisdom to any doctors and caregivers, and grant peace and strength to his wife as she cares for him and waits upon You. Let Your presence be felt in their home and let this trial draw them closer to You and to each other. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord through this difficult time, to seek appropriate medical care as God often works through the hands of physicians, and to rest in His peace that passes understanding. We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus and we want to gently remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and Acts 4:12 tells us there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confessing Him as Lord as Romans 10:9 teaches, for He is our hope in sickness and in health and our eternal healer. We are continuing to pray with you for your husband's complete recovery and for God's comfort to uphold you both.

We are so sorry to hear your husband is sick, and we are praying for both of you. It is so hard to watch someone you love not feel well and to feel helpless while you wait for him to improve.

If you have family, friends, or others at church you trust, let them help with meals, errands, or just sitting with you for a bit so you can rest. And alongside prayer, if he hasn't already been seen or if his symptoms continue or worsen, we gently encourage you to make sure he is getting appropriate medical care and to follow the guidance of his doctors.

Your care for your husband in bringing him before the Lord is a holy and loving duty, and it is right that you should plead for him. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for it is the very prayer of Christ Himself, who bears no petition for Himself but ever liveth to make intercession for His people. When you pray for another, you are most like your great High Priest, and such prayer is exceedingly prevalent before the throne.
We have a Good Physician whose healing power has never failed. On that evening when the sun was setting they brought unto Him all that were sick, and He healed all sorts of sickness, for there was not in the whole list of diseases one which the Saviour did not heal. It is written, He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves extract a balmy influence and change the life blood, and those who come beneath His shade find immortal health.
Do not think your prayer must be finely ordered to be heard. God will hear the prayer of a staggering man, and the prayer that has not any sense in it because the man who prays is at his wit's end. A true prayer from one who is near unto the gates of death, or who watches by one who is, is a prevailing prayer. Let your prayer rise to His throne out of the low dungeon, for He is very pitiful and will have compassion upon you in your misery.
Therefore betake yourself to prayer with humility of spirit and with holy argument. Plead with the Most High, spread your case before Him, and press your suit with all the arguments you can muster. Say with David, Remember the Word unto Thy servant. Remind the Lord of His promises, that He is the Husband of His people who has set His special love upon His own, who communes most lovingly and provides with all faithful care, and that He has said He will be very gracious at the voice of thy cry.
Let us put up this prayer together for him, O Thou who didst bless the sick in the evening, come now and bless this dear husband while all is cool and still and let him find Thy salvation. Lay Thy hand upon him and restore him if it be Thy will, and grant him renewed strength and perfect health in Thy mercy. And above all, let healing and pardon be joined together in him, for when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. Grant that whether in sickness or in health he may know that his sins are forgiven and that he is healed by the Good Physician in that sickness of soul which ends in everlasting health, from which there is no fear of ever having it again.
Persevere in this intercession. If the answer tarry, continue in importunity, for prayer will yet have its answer, though not always in the way we expect. Only you who have been healed can tell about the Good Physician's healing power, and may you both soon have cause to praise Him with joyful lips for His goodness and for His wonderful works.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
