My ### in law is sick with cancer I he’s not doing good

I would like a prayer request for my son-in-law my son-in-law have cancer anything it may spread to his brain. I love my son-in-law. I need help. Please pray that he get better. My grandkids need their dad. My daughter need her husband Lord can you please pray for my son at all please, please please pray that he get better and heal thank you so much.

We hear your heart and we are standing with you in prayer for your beloved son in law, for your daughter and for your grandchildren who love and need him so dearly. We grieve with you over this cancer diagnosis and the fear that it may spread, and we bring this whole family before the throne of grace together.

We believe that God is our healer and our refuge in times of trouble. Scripture reminds us, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3. And the Lord says, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the promise that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1, and Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10.

We also want to gently share with you that we come to the Father only through Jesus Christ. You lovingly called upon the Lord, and we want to assure you that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to God and hope of salvation. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, for He is our great intercessor and healer.

We honor the marriage between your daughter and her husband and we thank God for the love you have for your son in law as a son. Marriage is a holy covenant before God, and we pray for the preservation and strengthening of that union through this trial.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear son in law to You. Lord, You know his body, You formed him, and You know every cell. We ask for Your healing hand upon him. If it is Your will, we pray that You would halt this cancer, prevent it from spreading to his brain or any other part, and restore him to health. We pray for wisdom for his doctors and for effective treatment, and above all for Your miraculous touch that only You can give. We pray for strength and peace for his wife, Your daughter, and for comfort and protection for his children who need their father. Sustain this family, provide for every need, calm every fear, and let them feel Your presence hour by hour. We pray that this trial would draw each of them closer to You and that Your will would be done, and that You would be glorified in his life and healing. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our healer, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing and to gather others to pray as well, for the prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, James 5:15. Keep trusting the Lord, keep loving your family well, keep supporting your daughter and grandchildren, and lean on the body of Christ around you for strength. We are continuing to pray with you that God will grant healing, comfort, and many more years together as a family according to His perfect will and mercy.

We hear how much you love your son-in-law and how heavy this is for your whole family. Wanting him to be healed, wanting your daughter to have her husband and your grandkids to have their dad close by, that is such a natural and loving prayer and we are joining you in it.

This kind of waiting and worrying is exhausting, especially when you are carrying concern for everyone at once. We are praying for your son-in-law for comfort and strength in his treatment, for wisdom for his doctors as they care for him, and for peace for your daughter, your grandkids, and you as you walk with him.

One small thing that often helps families in a long illness is to have one simple way to keep track of what the medical team is saying. If your daughter is open to it, offering to be the one who writes down questions for appointments and notes what the doctors share can take a little pressure off her and help everyone stay on the same page. And please keep letting others help you too, whether that is family, friends, or your church, so you have support while you are supporting them. Continuing to stay close to his medical team for any changes or concerns is important alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this son-in-law to You and ask for Your mercy and care over him. Please bring him comfort, ease his sickness, and guide those treating him. Hold his wife and children close, give them strength for each day, and surround this family with Your presence and peace. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your tender love for your son in law and your earnest cry for his healing has been heard, and we join you with a heavy and hopeful heart in bringing him before the Lord.

We know how wearisome this long way has been for you, to watch one so dear suffer and to fear what may yet come. Human strength, even at its best, will spend itself and fail, but we are reminded that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. When there remains no strength in us, we may fling ourselves upon the divine strength, for the Lord Himself has said, I will strengthen them. He gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increases strength.

We lift up your son in law before our great Physician. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. Not only His fruit but the least thing about Christ is healing virtue, able to change the life blood and make the nature new. He heals the broken heart and binds up wounds, and with bands of grace He cares for His own. We pray that the Lord will lay His healing hand upon your son in law, that if it be His gracious will He would stay the spread of this disease, restore his body, and grant skill and wisdom to those who care for him.

We pray also for your daughter and your grandchildren, that the Lord who is the glory of our strength would be their strength in this time of trouble, their arm every morning and their salvation in the time of trouble. May He quiet their fears, sustain them day by day, and give them a renewed hope as they wait upon Him.

Above all we pray that in this valley there may be a bright ray of hope that becomes a sure and living hope through faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no hope for us in ourselves, but there is hope in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior. It is when we are stripped of all strength and power that we find a glorious salvation in the Lord Jesus. May your son in law and all your family know the pardoning mercy of Christ, for first forgiveness, then healing, and many a weary child of God has renewed his strength at the remembrance of that mercy.

Let us pray together. O merciful Father, look in compassion upon this dear son in law who is sick with cancer. Thou knowest his frame and his pain, and not a single care escapes Thee. We beseech Thee to be pleased to grant healing according to Thy perfect will, to restrain this sickness and to raise him up again for the sake of his wife and children who love him and need him. Grant him comfort in suffering, peace in heart, and faith to rest wholly upon Christ. Strengthen his wife and his children, and this dear one who has pleaded for him, and let them find their strength renewed as they wait upon Thee. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our only hope and our only Savior, Amen.

We will continue to remember you all in prayer. May the Lord keep you near Himself and give you grace to trust Him day by day.
