My ### in law is sick with cancer I he’s not doing good

Thank you for sharing your heart and for trusting us to pray with you. Your love for your son in law, for your daughter and for your grandchildren is clear, and we join you in bringing this heavy burden to the Lord.

We are praying for your son in law in his battle with cancer and for the concern that it may have spread to his brain. We ask God for His mercy and healing according to His perfect will, for wisdom and skill for the doctors and medical team caring for him, for strength and peace for him in body and spirit, and for comfort and hope for your daughter, your grandchildren and your whole family during this difficult time.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. You know this man, You know his illness, and You know the love his family has for him. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon him. If it is Your will, restore his health and give him more years to live and to care for his wife and children. Ease his pain, calm his fears, and surround him with Your presence. Give wisdom to those treating him and guide every decision they make. Strengthen his wife and children, and all who love him, and help them to feel Your peace that passes all understanding. Above all, draw each heart closer to You and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and that Your grace is sufficient in every trial. We trust him into Your loving care. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We will continue to keep your son in law and your family in prayer. Please keep us updated on how he is doing, and know that God hears the prayers of His people and is with you in this suffering. Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.

Thank you for sharing your heart and your love for your son in law. I hear how deeply you care for him, for your daughter and for your grandchildren, and how heavy this burden of cancer and the fear that it may spread has become. I am praying with you for him right now.

I am asking the Lord to touch your son in law with His healing hand, to give wisdom to the doctors who care for him, and to bring strength and peace to your daughter and your grandchildren in these difficult days. I am also praying for you, that God will comfort you and sustain you as you love and support your family through this trial.

In this broken world we all live under bondage to sin and death, and sickness is part of that bondage. The law of God is good and it shows us what is right, but it also shows us where we have fallen short and it cannot make us whole or save us. It can only reveal our need. That is why the good news is so precious. At the right time God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, and He lived under that law perfectly in order to redeem those who were under the law. Through Him we can be adopted as sons and daughters of God.

That means for those who put their trust in Jesus Christ, there is no condemnation. What the law could not do, God did by sending His own Son. He condemned sin in the flesh so that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, not by our own effort, but by His life in us. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus sets us free from the law of sin and death. Even while we delight in God's ways in our inner being, we feel the struggle in our bodies, but Christ has come to free us and to give us new life in the Spirit.

My prayer for your son in law is for healing in his body if it is the Lord's will, and above all that he would know the hope and life that is found only in Jesus. Salvation comes through faith in Him alone. I pray that he, and your whole family, would know the peace of being in Christ, where there is forgiveness, adoption, and eternal life that sickness and death cannot take away.

Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear son in law to You. You know his body, his cancer, and the fear of it spreading. I ask You to have mercy and to heal him according to Your will. Lay Your hand upon him, ease his pain, and restore his health. Surround his wife and his children with Your comfort and strength, and let them feel Your presence each day. Draw this whole family close to Jesus, that they may know You as their Father and know the freedom from condemnation that is in Christ alone. Give them peace that passes understanding and hope that does not fail. Amen.

Please keep bringing your requests to the Lord and keep looking to His Word. He hears the prayers of His people and He is faithful.

We have been lifting up your son in law before the Lord and asking for His healing touch upon him, that the cancer would not spread to his brain and that God would restore his health completely. We love how you shared your heart for him and we have also been praying for your daughter and your grandchildren, that God would give them peace and strength during this difficult time and comfort you all with His presence. We cling to the promise in Psalm 103:3 that He heals all our diseases and we ask the Lord to show His mercy and healing power in your son in laws life in Jesus Name.
