We join with you in this tender moment and we thank God with you that you are experiencing the Helper even in the midst of sorrow over your mother.
We understand your heart to be saying that your mother has gone to be with the Lord from Golgotha, our Lord Jesus Christ, and that you are being comforted by the Holy Spirit. What a precious truth that even in grief we are not left alone. Jesus himself promised this, John 14:16 says I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever. And John 14:26 says But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you. The Helper you are experiencing is the very Spirit of God, sent in Jesus name to comfort, to teach, and to remind you of the hope we have in Christ.
We rejoice that because Jesus died on Golgotha and rose again, those who belong to Him are present with Him when they depart this life. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus, 1 Thessalonians 4:14. Jesus said I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies, John 11:25. This is the hope that sustains us, that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
We know your heart still aches, and that is natural. Even as we rejoice for your mother, we grieve the separation. The Word tells us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18. And we are reminded that the Father of mercies and God of all comfort comforts us in all our affliction, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more, neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more, Revelation 21:4.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son who shed His blood on Golgotha for us. We thank You for the life of this dear mother and we thank You that she is with You. We thank You for the gift of the Helper, Your Holy Spirit, who You have sent to dwell with us forever. We ask that You would continue to pour out Your comfort upon this grieving heart. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Remind our dear friend daily of the resurrection hope, that this separation is only for a time for those who are in Christ. Teach us to number our days and to walk close to You, leaning fully on the Helper. Sustain us with Your presence until the day we are reunited with You and with our loved ones in Your presence. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to lean into the Helper through prayer and through the Word, and to share the comfort you receive with others, for the Lord is near and He will carry you through each day until that joyful reunion.

Your words have reached us and we have felt the weight of sorrow that lies upon your heart in the going home of your mother. To hear you say that the Lord from Golgata has gone with her is to hear a confession of faith in the midst of grief, for Golgata is Calvary, and He who suffered there is the same who now gathers His own to Himself.
We pray that the God of all comfort will comfort you according to His word, for it is written, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. When every other comfort fails, the Holy Spirit proves a rich comfort to the soul and fills the poor heart with peace and joy in believing. He does not always give comfort by a distinct and sudden act, but He quickens us by His Word and so we obtain comfort. This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me. Remember the Word unto thy servant, upon which Thou hast caused me to hope, for that promise is already comfort before it is fully fulfilled.
The Scriptures were written that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. This is the hope with which your godly mother died, the hope with which all those who are in Christ have died. It is not a hope which is no hope, but a good hope through grace, an everlasting consolation which God our Father has given us because He has loved us. Now our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and stablish you in every good word and work.
There is no hope for any of us in ourselves, but there is hope for us in Him whom God hath provided to be the Saviour of such as we are. If you feel that you could give a reason for the hope that is in you with meekness and fear, hold fast to that hope. If at times the grace that is really in you is scarcely visible to yourself and thick darkness surrounds you, remember that the Lord knoweth them that are His, and He seeth sincerity where we can scarcely see it ourselves. He lives upon hope who pleads the promise, and He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing.
May the God of patience and consolation grant you patience to wait upon Him, and may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost. We pray that you will find in the Word each day that which quickens you, and that you will prove in your own experience what you have seen in your mother, that to be with Christ is far better, and that those who sleep in Jesus shall be comforted with the sure and certain hope of eternal life through believing in Him.
