The wilderness seems such a terrible place
a place of loneliness
a place of solitude
although you are Never alone
This is a place of testing
of refining
and of Fire
Holy Fire!
That you really know yourself
and he knows you
and cleanses and purifies you
and you can choose for Him!
despite all that would have you fail and fall!
Lean on him alone
for all that is Holy
is in Him alone!
and all goodness
comes from him
Bless Him and praise him
"enter his courts with Thanksgiving
(telling of all that he has done to and for you)
and into his courts with praise"
sit at his feet and worship Him!
and rest in Him alone.
Remember That he loves you
and in an instant can
and will do more
in you
and us all
to us
and through us
than we can achieve in a Lifetime
even of obedient service!
For he is God
our Father
in Jesus our Lord and King
He is (plural) the lover of our Soul
who cleanses us
and forms us to be
the very bride of Christ!
and prepares a vast banquet for us
(in the presence of our foes)
and our eternal dwelling
Se Jesus has gone ahead of us
to prepare our place
in the body of his church
The Bride
that he so longs for
and loves so much
even unto death on a wooden cross!
mocked and insulted
disbelieved
and reviled
even by those who welcomed him
only days before!
He Knows your pain
so give it to him
and he will bear you up in great Joy
and restore you
to himself!
For he loves you so!
"Dear Father in heaven I commend my sister to you
that all that you have done through her
may be counted worthy to you
and that you take her by the heart
and by the hand
and guide her through the wilderness
to you
