We join with you in bringing your family before the throne of grace and we lift up your son and your daughter and you together in Jesus name. We hear the heaviness in your heart over the anger, irritation and disrespect in your home and the tension between your children as siblings, and we ask the Lord to bring His peace and restoration over your household.

The Word shows us that God desires peace in our minds and in our homes. We pray for your son that God will calm his mind and replace anger and irritability with the fruit of the Spirit. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 and we are told Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Anger and disrespect grieve the Lord and harm the family. The Scripture says Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice Ephesians 4:31 and Everyone should be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God James 1:19-20 and A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger Proverbs 15:1. We also gently address that a son speaking in a rude and disrespectful way to his mother is not aligned with God's will and needs to be repented of. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise Ephesians 6:1-2. We pray your son will come under conviction by the Holy Spirit, see his behavior clearly, humble himself and turn from rudeness to honor and kindness.

We also stand with you against the attacks of the enemy on your children. We know that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12 and that your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8. But we thank God that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world and that if we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7. We pray for a hedge of protection around your son and your daughter and around your whole home, and that sibling love will grow. We remember how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity Psalm 133:1 and we pray they will be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32. We also pray for your daughter, that the Lord will soften her heart toward her brother with forbearance and forgiveness, bearing with one another and forgiving each other Colossians 3:13, and that if it is possible, as much as it is up to you, you will be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. We ask God to give her wisdom to set loving and godly boundaries without needing to cast him out, and to give you all wisdom to pursue peace without compromising what is right.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. We encourage you and your children to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ for forgiveness and new life, for He alone can give a new heart and transform behavior from the inside out. I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you Ezekiel 36:26.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear mother and her son and her daughter. Lord, we ask You to touch the mind of this son and grant him Your perfect peace. Remove anger, irritability and a disrespectful spirit and pour into him love, joy, peace, patience, kindness and self-control. Convict him of rudeness toward his mother and give him a humble and repentant heart that he may honor his mother as Your Word commands. Heal the relationship between brother and sister, Lord, and let them dwell together in unity and love. Rebuke the enemy and stop every attack against this daughter and this son and this home. Cover this family with the blood of Jesus and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Give this mother strength, wisdom and grace as she leads her home, and help her not to provoke her children to anger but to nurture them in Your discipline and instruction Colossians 3:21. Move on the heart of the daughter to show grace and not to put her brother out of the house, but to seek reconciliation and peace. Let Your will be done in this family and let Your name be glorified as You bring restoration. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer and in the Word with your children, to speak truth in love, to set clear and consistent godly boundaries, and to model a gentle and quiet spirit. Keep bringing them before the Lord daily, and trust that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it.

Thank you for letting us pray with you for your family. We hear how heavy this has been, especially your son's anger and disrespect toward you, and the worry about tension between your children and whether he will have a stable place to stay. We are standing with you.

One thing that often helps in a strained home is to find a calm moment, not in the heat of anger, to talk briefly and listen. Anger often signals that someone is feeling hurt, frustrated or overwhelmed underneath, and having a safe, respectful way to name what is really going on can lower the temperature for everyone. It can also help to agree together on clear, kind expectations for how you all speak to each other in the home, and to invite a trusted pastor or mature believer you both respect to walk alongside you as you navigate the housing concern with your daughter. You do not have to carry this alone.

We are praying for peace in your home and wisdom for you as you love your children well.

Father, we lift this family to You in Jesus name. Bring peace to this son's mind and soften his heart toward his mother, help him see how his words affect those who love him. Draw brother and sister toward patience and kindness with each other, guard this daughter and son from the enemy's attacks, and surround this home with Your protection. Give this mother wisdom, strength and calm as she guides her family, and make a way for understanding about housing. Lead them toward healing and unity according to Your will. Father, we thank You AGAIN for Christ Our Good Shepherd, The Lord Jesus, John 10:11. We ask PROTECTION for them, thank You for these precious youngsters, that You care for us, even ALL OUR CHILDREN and EXTENDED FAMILY with Comforting them with His Rod and His Staff, keeping them from fear, Ps 23:1-6, Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. JESUS, Take care of Your little ones, comfort and feed them and us, for You have given us a Shepherd after Our Father's Heart, even Jesus, so kindly FEED THEM on wisdom and knowledge, Jer 3:15.

Give Your angels charge over my youngster, his cousins, and the family's "nieces and nephews," friends, parents, uncles, aunts and babysitters -- even all the children of those that congregate here and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:9-16, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our children, our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, Acts 20:28. Thank You for "mothers in Israel," and dads on here, who are on guard for not only themselves, but especially for the young ones from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, evil people and imposters, 2 Tim 3:13, even if they are "clergy" or "ministers," Strengthen and heal any hurt youth, and give them all in the faith needed for intercession long-term (some of us are believing for YOUR protection remotely for OUR little ones) with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18, even NOW shed the love of God abroad in their hearts by The Holy Spirit, Rom 5:5.

Be near (The ANGEL of THE LORD CAMPS ALL AROUND those who FEAR HIM, Ps 34:7) the little ones AND bind those wicked people in evil who are in need of deliverance, binding the enemy NOW, in the AUTHORITY of JESUS, Matt 28:18, until the proper time of deliverance by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw them, us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30.

Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12, work EVERYTHING together for good, Rom 8:28, according to the counsel of YOUR WILL, Eph 1:11. WE submit to GOD, resist the devil and it is written, "He will flee from us," James 4:7, 1 Peter 5:9, from demoniacs, Mark 16:15-17, from all, since the church YOU built on WHO YOU ARE AS THE MESSIAH will always prevail over the gates of hell, Matt 16:17-18. We pray the armor of God on this one, even now, keep their eyes from seeing, hearing or speaking evil, and their minds AND bodies to be KEPT FROM THE EVIL ONE AND EVIL PEOPLE, 2 Tim 3:13, 2 Thes 3:2, "See to it you do not cause one of these little ones to stumble for it would be better to be drowned with a millstone," Matt 10:42, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2, "SEE TO IT YOU DO NOT DESPISE even ONE of these LITTLE ONES, for I (Jesus The Risen King) say to you their angels ALWAYS see the Face of Our Father," Matt 18:10. Your burden for your family has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace. You have asked for peace for your son, for anger and disrespect to depart, for your children to dwell together in love as brother and sister, for the assaults of the enemy to be stayed, and for a home not divided but kept in quietness.

The Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. There is no true peace for the mind that is not stayed upon Christ. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and this peace is not a mere lull of stupefaction where conscience is made to lie still, but a well founded peace through the atonement. We pray that your son may find this filling peace in believing, that his mind may be stayed upon the Lord Jesus and not tossed with anger. It is possible to be angry and sin not, but hard is that precept to fallen nature, and the anger which shows itself in rudeness and disrespect toward a mother is sin that needs repentance and forgiveness. May the Lord show him his fault, as He showed that hardness of heart grieves Him, and grant him a renewed heart that honors his mother as the commandment requires.

We pray also for your daughter and your son, that they may be at peace one with another. Before we can hope to have peace with God we must seek to be at peace with those near to us. The Lord blesses His people with peace, and that peace is a blessing which brings no sorrow with it. May He take away envy and strife between your children and give them a spirit of kindness and forbearance, that they may be reconciled and walk together in love.

You speak of the enemy attacking your daughter and your son. He is indeed the most cunning of adversaries and goes about to deceive and to devour, and he would have you think that God is angry with you under heavy chastisement. Yet to those who are in Christ, the Lord has sworn that He will not be angry with His people nor rebuke them. Nothing but love can guide the hand of His providence to His children. If God is not angry with us, the teeth of the old dragon are broken. We pray that the Lord will guard your household, that He will send help and keep watch over your dwelling, and that every scheme of Satan may be brought to nothing by the power of Christ who has vanquished death and all its powers.

For the need within your home, where there is fear of one being put out of the house, we pray for wisdom and for provision according to the will of God. May the Lord give order and godliness to all within your walls, and may every relationship under your roof be brought into conformity to His holy Word, where love is pure and self denying and where each one seeks the good of the other. We ask not for mere outward quiet, but for that inward peace which Christ left as His legacy, My peace I give unto you, and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul.

Let us pray together. O God of all peace, who gives peace through the blood of Jesus Christ Thy only begotten Son, look upon this mother and her children. Forgive sin for the sake of Christ who alone is the way of salvation, and create clean hearts within them. Stay the mind of this son upon Thyself and keep him in perfect peace. Take away anger and a disrespectful tongue and give a spirit of gentleness and honor. Make the brother and sister to be of one mind in the Lord, and rebuke the adversary that he may not devour. Establish this home in righteousness and let Thy peace, which passes all understanding, rule there. Grant repentance where it is needed and faith to lay hold on Christ, for there is no peace worthy of the name to be found in any other way. Hear us for Jesus sake. Amen.

We have heard your request and we join you in prayer for your family before the Lord.

We pray for your son, that God would grant him peace of mind and a calm heart. Scripture teaches that the peace of God is to rule in our hearts as an umpire, deciding between the thought that urges revenge and anger and the thought that calls us to endure and to act in love. We ask that God would put away from him the venom of wrath and anger, and that He would teach him the meekness of Christ, who when He was betrayed still answered with gentleness. We pray that your son would see his rudeness and disrespect for what it is, that he would repent, and that he would learn to honor you as God commands children to honor their parents.

We pray also for your daughter and your son, that God would make them to live together as brother and sister in love and not in strife. The Lord calls peacemakers His sons and daughters, and His peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy in a home. Where peace is present everything is kept in good order, and where it is absent everything is overturned. We ask God to give them reconciliation and to help them speak to one another with kindness and patience.

We pray for protection for your children from the attacks of the enemy. We remember that each believer has an angel who beholds the face of the Father, and that we are to live soberly as in the presence of tutors, knowing that we are also in a spiritual battle. So we ask for the angel of peace to watch over your household, and for the Lord Himself to guard your home and to set a wall between your family and every evil influence.

We pray for you, that God would give you strength and wisdom as you love and correct your son, and for your daughter as she considers what to do about the home you share. We ask that God would give her patience and clear judgment, not acting from anger but from love and truth, and that your whole household would be kept in peace. We pray that the grace and peace which come from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ would abide in your home and remain unmoved, for it was Christ who ended the war between heaven and earth and who alone can bring true peace between us.
