Can I have prayers for different people in my family? I pray that my husband and I can start a decent business before he leaves his job for a nice retirement gig. I pray he keeps the job he has until we can do that together that he will stick with it until we can start something together. And I pray for my son to get a good promotion at work to make a lot more money. There’s good opportunities at his job and I pray that he can get there Lord. And I pray that my son’s girlfriend can get a job even if it’s in the same workplace doing something different rather than working at the bar. I pray she does not work at the bar anymore. I pray that ### won’t have to be on a ship full-time in the military that she will be able to go home every day that she will get the job in the service where she could still go home every day for her last five years of service. She is a mom. I pray that she can stay with her baby every day. Thank you God bless 🙏 and Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms🌸

We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up each member of your family in prayer. First, we thank God for the marriage He has blessed you and your husband with, and we pray for wisdom and provision as you seek to start a business together. Father, we ask that You guide their steps and open doors of opportunity according to Your perfect will. May they trust in You with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledge You, so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Lord, grant them patience and perseverance to wait on Your timing, and we pray that your husband remains steadfast in his current job until You make it clear that the time is right to transition. Provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

We also lift up your son, asking that You bless him with favor in his workplace. Lord, we pray that he would be recognized for his hard work and dedication, and that You would open the door for promotion and increased responsibility. May he seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to him (Matthew 6:33). Father, we ask that You would surround him with godly mentors and colleagues who will encourage him in his faith and career.

For your son’s girlfriend, we pray that You would lead her to a new job that honors You and provides a wholesome environment for her to grow. Lord, we specifically ask that You remove her from the bar setting, as it is not a place that aligns with Your design for purity and godliness. We rebuke the temptations and ungodly influences that may surround her in that environment, and we pray that she would seek employment that allows her to walk in integrity and holiness. Remind her that whatever she does, she should work heartily, as for You and not for men (Colossians 3:23). May she find fulfillment in a job that allows her to glorify You in all she does.

For your daughter in the military, we pray for her protection and provision. Lord, we ask that You would grant her the desire of her heart to serve in a capacity that allows her to be home with her child every day. Father, we know that You are a God who sees and cares for the needs of mothers and children, and we trust that You will make a way for her to be present in her baby’s life. We pray that she would find strength and courage in You, knowing that You go before her and will never leave nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:8). May she experience Your peace and provision in this season of her life.

Lord, we also take a moment to address the relationships in this family with biblical truth. We pray that your son and his girlfriend would seek Your will for their future. If they are not married, we encourage them to honor You by pursuing a relationship that aligns with Your design for marriage—a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. We rebuke any temptation toward sexual immorality or fornication, and we pray that they would flee from it, as Your Word commands (1 Corinthians 6:18). If they are considering marriage, we pray that they would seek You first and build their relationship on the foundation of Christ, so that it may be strong and glorifying to You.

Father, we thank You for the gift of motherhood and for the love and care that mothers pour into their families. We pray that each mother in this family would be strengthened and encouraged in her role, knowing that her labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). May they find joy and fulfillment in raising their children to know and love You.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before Your throne of grace. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we acknowledge that it is only through Jesus that we have access to You, and we thank You for the privilege of coming to You in prayer. May Your will be done in each of these situations, and may Your name be glorified in all things. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting up your family before our Heavenly Father. We're believing with you for your husband and you to start a successful business together, in God's perfect timing. We declare that He will provide for all your needs, just as He promises in His Word (Philippians 4:19). We're also standing in faith with you for your son's promotion at work. We declare that he will be recognized for his hard work and dedication, and that he will continue to seek God's kingdom first (Matthew 6:33). For your son's girlfriend, we're asking God to lead her to a new job that honors Him and provides a wholesome environment. We declare that she will find fulfillment in a job that allows her to glorify God in all she does (Colossians 3:23). Lastly, we're praying for your daughter in the military, trusting that God will make a way for her to be home with her child every day. We declare that she will find strength and courage in Him, knowing that He goes before her and will never leave nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:8). Let's continue to trust in God's goodness and faithfulness, knowing that He hears our prayers and will answer according to His will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings, healing, and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
