We hear your heartfelt plea for your family, and we stand with you in lifting this situation before the throne of God. It is clear that you are seeking justice, protection, and divine intervention in a time of great distress. We join you in praying that if it is the Lord’s will, He would indeed provide a righteous and capable lawyer to guide your family through this legal battle. The Word of God reminds us in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Even the decisions of judges and authorities are under God’s sovereign control, and we trust that He will direct the outcome according to His perfect will.
We also pray, as you have asked, that the Lord would expose the evil doers involved in this situation. Scripture is clear that God hates injustice and will not allow wickedness to go unchecked forever. Psalm 37:17 says, "For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but Yahweh upholds the righteous." We declare that those who seek to harm your family with false accusations or unjust actions will be brought to light, and their schemes will not prevail. We rebuke the spirit of deception and corruption in this matter and command it to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. Let every lie be uncovered, and let truth prevail as the Lord brings hidden things to light.
You have expressed gratitude and praise to God for the prevention of a warrant and incarceration, and we join you in this thanksgiving. It is right to acknowledge God’s hand in sparing your family from further harm, for He is a God who hears the cries of His people. Psalm 34:17 tells us, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." We continue to pray that God would shut every door that leads to bondage or oppression and that He would open the doors of deliverance and favor for your family.
However, we must also gently remind you that our trust must remain in the Lord alone, not in outcomes or circumstances. While it is right to pray for specific results, we must surrender the final outcome to God’s wisdom, knowing that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s face, not just His hand, and to ask Him to strengthen your faith through this trial. Trials are often allowed by God to refine us, draw us closer to Him, and display His glory in ways we cannot yet see.
We also want to address the phrase in your request, "don’t let them have no piece." It is important to guard our hearts against bitterness or a desire for vengeance, as Scripture warns us in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Instead of praying for harm to come to others, we should pray for their repentance and transformation, that they might come to know the Lord and turn from their wicked ways. This does not mean we ignore injustice, but we leave the judgment to God, who is perfectly just.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family and their current struggle. Lord, we ask that You would provide a godly lawyer who will stand for truth and justice, if it be Your will. We pray that You would expose every lie, every scheme, and every evil intention of those who seek to harm this family. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let every hidden thing be brought to nothing. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we thank You for sparing this family from a warrant and incarceration, and we ask that You would continue to protect them from every form of oppression. We rebuke the spirit of fear and declare that perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Let this family walk in Your peace, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, we also pray for those who are perpetrating injustice. We ask that You would soften their hearts, open their eyes to their wrongdoing, and lead them to repentance. Let them see the error of their ways and turn to You, the righteous Judge. We surrender this situation into Your hands, trusting that You will work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Strengthen this family’s faith, Lord. Help them to trust in You even when the path is unclear. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, discernment, and peace. May they find their hope and security in You alone, knowing that You are their defender and deliverer.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to Your throne, and it is by His authority that we pray. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
