My Failed Marriage

Thank You for the opportunity to make a request... I ask for help in my failed marriage. My wife gave up on me, and I don't know how long ago. I've gone back to the 20+ years before we were married and see how wonderful we were together—and feel it is worth it. I need God's help in staying positive. I honestly don't know which direction to turn in these final weeks of 2009. I feel the pressure of the holidays coming. I don't know how I can keep it up for our 3 kids. I feel the pressure of failing to touch her heart soon means it will be too late. I pray someone, some friend, some family member can be a spark that starts us going toward each other again. The local help I seek just doesn't seem to be there right now, so I'm glad I came here. - ###, ###, ###, ### & ###

 

[Hosea]

I believe God is the Word. I trust Jesus Christ for my salvation. Lord Jesus, I’m a sinner, but You have shown Your love for me by dying to forgive my sins, and You have proven Your power to save me from death by Your resurrection. Lord, change my heart, and save me by Your Grace.

I pray for husband and wife, reveal to them anything in their own heart that is threatening their union. I pray for the restoration of their marriage into the covenant that You intended. I pray that Your Love flows through each of them to the other. I ask for God’s forgiveness. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray, Amen.

Heavenly Father, I ask you, LORD, to rebuke and bind Satan in the name and through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ (Jude 9). I ask you to build a “Hedge of Thorns” around this wife, so that anyone with wrong influence will lose interest in her and leave (Hosea 2:5-7; Job 1-3). I base this prayer on the command of Your Word which states, “Therefore, don’t let anyone separate what God has joined together” (Matthew 19:6). Father God, Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer (I John 5:15; John 14:13-14), Amen.

The Love and Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and your loved ones!

No prayer to Our Lord is unanswered! We need to remember Jesus is always faithful to us. Let us with pray with confidence “But I trust in you, LORD; I say, “You are my God.” (Psalm 31:15)

Try to recite this prayer daily & pray for other people in the same situation.

My help will come from the Lord, who made Heaven and Earth. He will not let me fall; he is by my side to protect me. The sun will not hurt me during the day or the moon during the night. Let me give all my worries and tensions in the hands of my God. He is my loving father who cares for me protect me from all danger; He will keep me safe. He will protect me as I come and go now and forever. Amen
