My eyes diseases

I don't know why my eyes are having a lot of problems, and itching so much because they are not supposed to do that. All disease has to be kept out of my eyes in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!! I don't know where that comes from.

We join with you in prayer concerning this distress with your eyes and we agree with you that in the name of Jesus Christ all disease must be kept far from you. We understand how troubling and uncomfortable it is when your eyes itch and suffer and you do not know the cause, but our Father knows and sees all, and nothing is hidden from Him.

We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our God as our healer, for He says I am Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26, and we are reminded to praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:2-3. We also cling to His promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and to the truth that by his wounds we are healed in Isaiah 53:5. We know that Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind in Psalm 146:8 and that Jesus had great compassion for those with affliction of the eyes.

We also gently encourage you to seek wise medical care while we pray, for Luke the beloved physician is mentioned in Colossians 4:14, and God often works through the hands of doctors and through practical means to bring healing, whether this irritation comes from allergy, infection, dryness, or another cause. We encourage you to have your eyes examined promptly, to avoid rubbing them, to keep your hands clean, and to rest your eyes as you are able.

We rebuke any sickness and infirmity afflicting your eyes and we speak healing and wholeness over you in Jesus name, asking the Lord to reveal the cause and to remove it completely.

We now pray together for you. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to You and by whom we are saved. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your healing touch upon their eyes. Lord, You formed the eyes and You see every irritation, every itch, every unknown cause. We ask You to soothe the itching, to cleanse away any infection or allergy or disease, to restore clear and comfortable vision, and to protect these eyes from all harm. We ask that You guide the doctors and give wisdom to discern what is causing this affliction. Let Your peace rest upon this heart that is troubled by not knowing where this comes from, and remind them that You are in control and that You care deeply for them. We pray for complete restoration and for faith to remain strong while waiting upon Your healing, believing that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up in James 5:15. We thank You, Father, for hearing us, for Your mercy and Your healing power, and we trust You to keep all disease far from these eyes. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer we pray, Amen.

We're so sorry you're dealing with this. Itchy, irritated eyes that won't settle are exhausting and worrisome, especially when you don't know what's causing it. We hear how much you want this gone and how strongly you're trusting Jesus for protection and healing.

It makes sense to bring both prayer and practical care together. Alongside praying, we encourage you to have your eyes checked soon by your primary care doctor, urgent care, or an eye doctor, so they can look directly, find what is irritating them, and guide you on next steps. If itching worsens, vision changes, pain or swelling develops, please seek care promptly.

We are praying with you for relief, for clear answers, and for peace while you wait. You don't have to carry the worry alone, we are standing with you and asking God to give you rest and steady hope each day. If it helps, you might jot down when the itching is worst and any other symptoms to share with the clinician, so they have a clear picture.

Father, we bring our friend to You and ask for Your mercy and care over their eyes. Please ease the itching and discomfort, give wisdom to those who care for them, and help them feel Your nearness and peace. We ask for healing and guidance according to Your will, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your burden concerning your eyes has been brought before the Lord with tender care, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer. To suffer with constant itching and trouble in the eyes, and not to know the cause, is a trial that wears upon both body and spirit, and He who made the eye sees your affliction.

Be encouraged that the Lord hears even the prayer that seems to reel to and fro. When a soul is at its wit's end and its words have little order or comeliness, yet a true prayer from one who is near to distress is a prevailing prayer. He is not long in answering though we may be long in crying to Him, and He will hear the prayer of a staggering man who can scarcely frame his petition. You need not restrain prayer before God nor cast off fear, but come freely and spread your case before Him with all the arguments His own promises supply, pleading His Word and asking Him to remember it unto His servant.

We remember that Jesus Christ is the Good Physician, and there is abundance of healing power in Him. The Scripture speaks of the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and of the tree whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, to show us that the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction by His cross, and when the Lord comes to dwell with His people, their soul diseases receive a healing medicine and their bodies also are under His compassionate hand. Only those who have been healed can fully tell of His power, but all may come to Him in low dungeon and expect that He will be very pitiful.

Let us pray together for you now.

O Lord our God, Father of mercies, we bring before Your throne our dear one who suffers with disease and grievous itching of the eyes. You formed the eye and You know its every part. Look in compassion upon this affliction whose cause is unknown to man but known to You. In the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon these eyes, cool the inflammation, take away the itching, and keep out all disease. Let Your healing virtue flow as from the great conduit Head to this member of the body. If it be Your will, grant complete restoration, and give wisdom to those who may give care and treatment. Quicken and strengthen faith while waiting upon You, and let this trial work for good. Above all, let the soul be kept in perfect peace, finding good in all that comes, and rejoicing that whether in sickness or in health, sin is forgiven through the blood of Christ and the heart is made whole. Hear our staggering prayer and answer according to Your perfect wisdom and love. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in importunate prayer, for intercessory prayer is sweet and prevalent with Him, and He delights to hear His children cry to Him. Cast your care upon Him daily, use also the lawful means of care for the body which His providence provides, and trust the Good Physician to do that which is best.
