My dog's surgery

We have received your prayer request and we are joining you in prayer today for your dog and for you in this anxious time.
We ask our merciful Father to be present in the surgery room, to lessen your dog's suffering and to grant him comfort and peace. We pray that God will guide the hands and mind of the veterinarian and all who are caring for him, giving them wisdom and skill, and that He will bring about healing and recovery according to His gracious will.
We know how deep the bond is between you and your companion, and that the Lord sees your love and concern. Scripture reminds us that the righteous care for their animals and that not even a sparrow is forgotten by God, how much more does He see your faithful care.
We pray also for you, that God will give you peace while you wait and trust Him with the outcome. May you feel His comfort and presence today.
