We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your beloved dog in prayer. We know how deeply you love her, and how painful it must be to see her suffering. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 12:10, "A righteous man respects the life of his animal," and we see your care for her as a reflection of God’s love for all His creation.
Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this precious animal. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb and knows every cell of her body. We ask for a miracle, complete restoration of her kidneys, strength in her body, and comfort in her spirit. If it is Your will, Lord, bring her through this trial with renewed health. We trust in Your mercy and power, for nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:17).
We also ask for peace and wisdom for you as her caretaker. May You grant you patience, clarity in decisions, and the assurance that You are near in this difficult time. If her time on earth is coming to an end, we pray for Your grace to surround you both, that she may pass without pain and that you would feel Your presence carrying you through grief.
Lord, we know that all healing comes from You, and we place this situation entirely in Your hands. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in whatever the outcome. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

The cry of your heart reaches the throne of grace, and we are moved to agonize with you in prayer for this afflicted creature. The Great Physician who healeth all our diseases is not limited to the bodies of men alone; He openeth His hand and satisfieth the desire of every living thing. Let us therefore spread this petition before Him with importunity, crying, "Lord, help!", for a true prayer from one who is near unto the gates of death is a prevailing prayer.
Yet as we pray for this dear animal, let the affliction of the body lead you to consider the deeper malady of the soul. The Word of God, applied by the Holy Spirit, is the means of healing sin-sick souls; and the Lord Jesus Christ is THE WORD OF GOD, whom God hath sent for the healing of poor sinners. You have pleaded for a miracle; but the greatest miracle is that Christ bore the sins of His people into the land of forgetfulness. If you have never fled to Him for refuge, let this present trial drive you to the cross. He heareth prayer, and He never finally refuses to listen to such pleading as this: "Lord, help me!" This is a prayer for every place, a prayer that will do to die with. Commend your dog into His merciful keeping, but first commend your own immortal spirit. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved.
