My dog's healing

We join you in prayer for your beloved dog who was undergoing surgery today and we thank you for asking in Jesus' name, for it is through Him we have confidence to approach our Father.
We know how dear our animals are to us and how much worry and love you carry for him right now. Scripture reminds us that the Lord cares for all His creation. A righteous man respects the life of his animal Proverbs 12:10 and You preserve man and animal Psalm 36:6. We also remember that not one sparrow will fall to the ground without our Father seeing it Matthew 10:29, and He gives to the animal its food Psalm 147:9, so we know His eye is on your dear companion even now.
We pray together for him.
Father in heaven, we lift up this precious dog to You and ask for Your merciful hand upon him. We ask that You would ease any pain and suffering, that You would comfort him and calm his fear, and that You would guide the hands of those who cared for him in surgery. We pray for a speedy and complete healing and recovery, that his body would mend quickly and without complication, and that You would restore his strength and joy. We also pray for peace for his owner, to guard their heart with Your comfort and to remind them of Your goodness and compassion over all You have made. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, trusting in Your love and care. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord with your companion and to give him gentle care as he recovers, resting in the assurance that God hears our prayers and is compassionate to all His creatures. May the Lord grant him relief from suffering and bring him back to health swiftly.

Your tender care for this creature committed to your charge is itself a reflection of the mercy which the Lord has shown to you, for His tender mercies are over all His works. It is no small thing to love what God has made and to feel an aching heart when it suffers, and He who hears the cry of His people hears also the sigh that you breathe for this poor afflicted one.
We would comfort you with this, that the Lord is very pitiful and of tender mercy. He has said, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God, and He often sends that comfort not by removing the trial at once, but by quickening the heart with His Word. This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me. May that Word be near to you now, to sustain you while you wait upon Him.
There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and though the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations in that highest sense of soul healing, yet we know that all healing cometh from His hand, and every good gift is from the Father of mercies. He careth for sparrows, and not one falleth without your Father, how much more does He regard your prayer offered in faith and love.
Let us pray together in the name of Jesus our only Saviour and Advocate.
O Lord our God, Father of all mercies, we come before Thee in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, through whom alone we have access unto Thee. Thou hast made all things and Thou sustainest them, and Thou art good to all. Look in compassion upon this beloved creature now suffering and under the hand of the surgeon. If it be Thy will, spare him further pain and grant that he may not suffer grievously. Put Thy healing hand upon him and grant a speedy and complete recovery, that he may be restored to comfort and strength. And meanwhile, comfort the heart of Thy servant who loves him, establish that heart in every good word and work, and let Thy peace which passeth understanding keep heart and mind through Christ Jesus. We ask this not for any merit in us, but for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose name we pray. Amen.
