We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for your daughter and her romantic situation. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for her lonely heart.
We have been lifting her up before the Lord and asking Him to comfort her in her loneliness and to draw her close to Himself during this season of waiting. We are praying that God will heal her heart and give her peace and contentment as she trusts in His perfect timing, and that He will give her wisdom and discernment to release those relationships that will not go anywhere and that are not His best for her. We pray that the Lord will prepare her and also prepare a godly man for a committed relationship according to His will, and that she would find her fulfillment first in Christ. We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 147:3 that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds and of Psalm 37:4 that as we delight ourselves in the Lord He will give us the desires of our heart.
We continue to pray with you that God will guide her steps and guard her heart and lead her to the relationship He has for her in His perfect time. We pray that she will trust in the Lord with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding as it says in Prov 3:5.
