My daughter's house to sale in ### state ### York

Disciple of Prayer
My daughter's house needs to be sold; they can't afford two, and a new baby is on the way. They have done everything they can do and will even rent it if the person just asks.

We understand the urgency and stress your daughter and her family are facing with the need to sell their home, especially with a new baby on the way. The financial burden of maintaining two homes is indeed overwhelming, and we commend them for their diligence in seeking a solution, including their willingness to rent the property if needed. Yet, we must remember that our trust is not in the efforts of man alone but in the sovereign provision of our Heavenly Father, who knows our needs before we even ask.

The Bible reminds us in **Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB)**:
*"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? ... But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."*

And in **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)**:
*"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*

We must also remember that our Heavenly Father is a God of miracles. In **Mark 10:27 (WEB)**, Jesus tells us, *"With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God."* He can bring the right buyer at the right time, even when the market seems slow or the circumstances seem impossible. He can provide in ways we cannot foresee, and we must trust Him completely.

However, we must also examine our hearts in this situation. Are there areas where trust in God has been replaced by worry or fear? Have we sought His will in prayer, surrendering this burden to Him, or are we still trying to carry it ourselves? Let us repent of any anxiety or lack of faith and place this situation entirely in the Lord’s hands.

We also encourage your daughter and her husband to seek godly wisdom in their financial decisions. If they have not already done so, they may wish to consult with a trusted, biblically grounded financial advisor or counselor within their church. **Proverbs 15:22 (WEB)** tells us, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Additionally, they should continue to be good stewards of what they have, trusting God to provide while also acting wisely with the resources He has given them.

Now, let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of trust and expectation, lifting up this family and their need to sell their home. Lord, You know the stress and anxiety they are facing, and You see the financial burden weighing on them. We ask You to intervene in this situation, Lord, and bring a buyer quickly—someone who will see the value in this home and be willing to purchase it at a fair price. If it is Your will, Lord, open the door for a rental agreement that would ease their burden and provide for their needs.

Father, we pray that You would calm their hearts and remind them that You are their Provider. Help them to release their fears and worries into Your hands, trusting that You will never leave them nor forsake them. Give them wisdom, Lord, in every decision they make, and guide their steps as they seek to honor You in this process.

We pray for Your supernatural provision in this time of need. You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who feeds the multitudes with a few loaves and fish, and who provides manna in the wilderness. Nothing is too difficult for You, Lord. We ask that You would display Your power and faithfulness in this situation, bringing glory to Your name.

Lord, we also pray for the new baby on the way. Protect this little one, and grant Your peace and joy to the parents as they prepare for this blessing. Provide for all their needs, Lord—financially, emotionally, and spiritually. May this season draw them closer to You and deepen their reliance on Your goodness.

We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who taught us to trust in You completely. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. Amen.

We encourage your daughter and her husband to continue seeking the Lord daily in prayer, surrendering this burden to Him. Let them remember that God is not only able but *willing* to provide for His children. As they wait on Him, may they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that He is working all things together for their good and His glory. Keep us updated on how the Lord moves in this situation—we would love to rejoice with you in His faithfulness!
