Beloved of All
Your prayer is a beautiful offering of thanksgiving and trust, and it is a joy to join with you in it. Thank you for beginning with gratitude for waking, for daily provision, and for health. A thankful heart honors God and remembers that every good gift comes from His hand.
I join you in lifting up families who are struggling. God sees their need and He is faithful to provide. We can ask Him to meet what they lack according to His riches and kindness.
You spoke of being in a waiting season and of learning patience while God accomplishes His plans in His own time. Scripture teaches us that when we hope for what we do not yet see, we wait for it with patience. God Himself is patient, waiting for His perfect purpose to ripen like a harvest. That patience is not empty waiting. It is hopeful trust that He will do what He has promised, and that your expectation in Him will not be cut off.
For your child who has an exam, I pray with you that the Lord will give her what she needs. The Bible says the reverent awe of God is both the first step and the sum of true knowledge, and it is the starting place of wisdom. To fear the Lord is to love what He loves and to hate evil, to stand in awe of His power and wisdom and love. Knowledge gives facts, but wisdom knows what to do with those facts. Wisdom is more valuable than rubies, and nothing we desire can compare to it. God Himself gives wisdom, and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. So we can ask Him not only for right answers on a test, but for a heart that seeks Him first, that loves truth, and that grows in understanding. That kind of wisdom will serve her far beyond any single exam. And when fear rises, remembering His presence brings peace, for He reminds us that all things are possible with Him. May He quiet her heart and let her do her work with clarity and calm.
I also agree with you in prayer for peace in your country and for leaders to be united for the common good. When leaders are guided by wisdom, justice is established, for true wisdom brings counsel and strength.
For those in the hospital, we ask the Lord to touch them with His healing and mercy. He is compassionate toward the suffering and able to restore.
And for your work this day, may all you do bring glory to His name. Whether in ordinary tasks or great responsibilities, walking in the reverent fear of the Lord all day long keeps us in the right path and gives life to those who have it.
Let us pray together. Father, we thank You for this day, for life and health and daily bread. We lift to You every family in need and ask You to provide for them. Teach us to wait with patience, trusting Your perfect timing to accomplish Your plans in our lives. We lift up this dear child to You. Grant her knowledge and understanding, calm her fears, and help her to remember You in all she does. Give her wisdom that begins with reverence for You. Bring peace to this nation and guide its leaders with wisdom and unity. Lay Your healing hand upon those who are sick. And bless the work of this day, that it may honor You. We ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
