Good and Faithful Servant
🙇🏻 Father, thank You that "The Best King of Israel inquired of the Lord," and "You said," 1 Sam 23:2, "told him," 1 Sam 30:7-8, "answered," 2 Sam 2:1, "replied," 2 Sam 5:19, and, "said" 2 Sam 5:23, each time... He was 5 for 5 in inquiries to answers, Lord, 100%, Old Covenant. How much more now, with unveiled face, 2 Cor 3:18, and Your Word and a much greater fullness of Holy Spirit, Matt 11:11???

Jesus, You said "My sheep hear My voice," John 10:27, "we'll never follow a stranger," John 10:5. You tell us which way to go. We ask to be filled with knowledge of Your Will with wisdom and understanding so we can walk in the way that pleases you, Col 1:9-10, for reward diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and fervent prayers avail much, James 5:17. So lead us, so we can "follow You," walk in confident trust, we already trust who You are, and we'll do what You say and follow wherever You lead, "so we walk by faith," 2 Cor 5:17, and gladly do so, Ps 103:20...

Praying my ###, ###, and ### to please pray and not lose heart, Luke 18:1. Grace to remain in love and praying neither my faith nor her faith will fail, and afterwards we strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for prayers from the church that Jesus builds that the gates of hell will not prevail against, Matt 16:18, to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, resisting him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, Eph 3:16-20. Holy Spirit remind her, me and all of us of Jesus' Truth, John 14:26, in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with great reverence and expectation, lifting up this earnest cry for divine guidance and intervention. It is clear that you are seeking the Lord with a heart that desires to hear His voice and follow His will, and for that, we rejoice. The scriptures you have referenced reveal a deep hunger for intimacy with God, and we stand with you in this pursuit, for it is written, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27 WEB). Let us press into this truth together, knowing that our Good Shepherd leads us with perfect wisdom and love.

We are encouraged by your reliance on the Old Covenant examples of inquiring of the Lord, such as David, who sought God’s direction before every battle. How much more should we, who live under the New Covenant, expect to hear His voice clearly, for we have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us! "However, when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming" (John 16:13 WEB). We pray that you would be filled afresh with the Spirit’s leading, that your spiritual ears would be attuned to His gentle whisper, and that you would walk in confident obedience to His promptings.

You have asked for prayer regarding three pressing matters, though they were not explicitly named. We trust the Holy Spirit to reveal to us the burdens on your heart, and we lift them before the Lord with fervency. First, we pray for perseverance in prayer, that you and your beloved would not grow weary or lose heart, for "men ought always to pray, and not to faint" (Luke 18:1 WEB). The enemy seeks to discourage and distract, but we resist him in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church (Matthew 16:18 WEB). We stand firm in the faith, knowing that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you both.

Second, we address the matter of faith, for you have asked that neither your faith nor hers would fail. We rebuke the spirit of doubt and unbelief, for it is written, "Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me" (John 14:1 WEB). We pray that your faith would be strengthened as you meditate on God’s promises and recall His faithfulness in the past. May you both be rooted and grounded in love, that you may comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19 WEB). Let this love be the foundation upon which your relationship is built, for love covers a multitude of sins and bears all things (1 Corinthians 13:7 WEB).

Third, we sense a need for clarity and direction in your relationship. If you are courting with the intention of marriage, we encourage you to ensure that your relationship aligns with biblical principles. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, ordained by God for His glory and your mutual sanctification. "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24 WEB). If you are not yet married, we exhort you to flee from sexual immorality, for "flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). Guard your hearts and bodies, for you are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB). If you are already married, we pray that your union would reflect the love of Christ for His church, that you would honor one another, and that your marriage would be a testimony to God’s faithfulness.

We also take this moment to emphasize the necessity of salvation through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you or your beloved have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so without delay. "For if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB). This is the foundation upon which all other prayers and petitions rest.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness and love. We thank You for the privilege of coming boldly to Your throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). Lord, we lift up this dear brother and sister before You, asking that You would fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that they may walk worthily of You, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10 WEB).

Father, we ask that You would speak clearly to them, that they would hear Your voice and follow You without hesitation. Remove any distractions, doubts, or fears that would hinder their obedience. Give them the grace to walk by faith and not by sight, trusting in Your perfect plan for their lives (2 Corinthians 5:7 WEB). Strengthen their faith, Lord, that it would not waver but grow stronger each day. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, able to comprehend its vast dimensions and be filled with all Your fullness (Ephesians 3:17-19 WEB).

We pray for their relationship, that it would honor You in every way. If they are courting, prepare them for a godly marriage, where they will love and serve one another as Christ loves the church. If they are already married, renew their love and commitment to one another, that their union would reflect Your glory. Guard their hearts and minds from temptation, and help them to flee from sexual immorality. May their relationship be a testimony to Your grace and power.

Holy Spirit, we ask that You would remind them of Jesus’ truth and guide them into all truth (John 14:26 WEB). Fill them afresh with Your presence, that they may walk in step with You. We resist the devil and his schemes, declaring that he has no place in their lives. Strengthen them with power through Your Spirit in their inner being, that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17 WEB).

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your promise to answer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they bring glory to Your name in all they do. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend, we join you in seeking the Lord's guidance and intervention. We're reminded of the words in Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you." Trust that the Lord is leading you, and He will make His path clear.

We pray that you would be filled with the Holy Spirit, that your spiritual ears would be attuned to His gentle whisper, and that you would walk in confident obedience to His promptings. We ask that you would be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, being fruitful in every good work (Colossians 1:9-10).

We lift up your three pressing needs to the Lord. First, we pray for perseverance in prayer, that you and your beloved would not grow weary or lose heart. We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against you, and we stand firm in the faith, knowing that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you both (Matthew 16:18, Philippians 1:6).

Second, we pray for your faith and your beloved's faith, that it would not fail. We rebuke the spirit of doubt and unbelief, and we pray that your faith would be strengthened as you meditate on God's promises and recall His faithfulness in the past. We ask that you would be rooted and grounded in love, that you may comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).

Third, we pray for clarity and direction in your relationship. We ask that your relationship would align with biblical principles, and we pray for God's will to be done in your lives. We ask for wisdom and discernment in your decisions, and we trust that God will guide you in the way you should go.

We pray all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
